I Love You

DYLAN CADEN

"The more I thought, the more I felt like crying," I mumbled to myself. I couldn't feel anything but pain and longing. I'm aching for her. God, I love her so much.

I sighed and leaned back in the chair while staring into space. I drown myself in memories that my wife and I are still together.

I miss her warmth.

I miss her smile.

I miss her. So much.

I was startled when my cellphone rang in my pants pocket. I immediately answered that when I saw the number of my secretary.

"Sir. It's good that you answered." She says confusingly.

My forehead furrowed. "Problem, Miss?"

"Someone is looking for you. He's been waiting for you for a while." She Explained.

"Who?"

"Kristian and Trey Cervantes."

Luna's cousins. A corner of my lip rose. "I'll be there. Offer them some coffee while I'm on my way."

"Right away, Sir."

I cut the call. I stared at my cellphone for a long time. Looking at Luna's photo on the wallpaper.
