YUGTO 3: Devil's Time [Part II: Lollipop]

[Vanilla's POV]

"Just go. I can handle myself" I said, walking back where she is. I smiled at her since she's still smiling at me. I told you GAYS she's weird. "My name is Vanilla" I introduces myself, offering her a handshake. Her smile becomes wider and gladly shake my hand back. "The name is Brianna!" She introduced herself excitedly.

"You mean Brianna Kane?" I stated, saying her complete name made her shock and quickly let go of my hand. I just chuckle and dusted off the ground comfortably resting my butt onto it. "The next heiress of this school" I added. She quickly avoided my gaze and blushes in embarrassment. I chuckled once more perfectly catching her attention. "Are you going to avoid me?" She asked. Sadness is evident in her voice right now. I smiled at her and she smiled back a little. "Why would I do that?" I asked since its confusing. She won't asked me that basic question without a valid reason right?

"You know my name and I guess you already read the articles about this school" she answered truthfully. I nodded my head, earning a sigh from her. "I read everything" I shared made her looked down. I felt a little guilty cuz her smile didn't reaches her eyes anymore. I hold her hand gently made her flinched on the sudden touched. "None of it was your fault, Brianna" I assured her. She looks at me in disbelief but I just smiled at her.

Some water started to form from her eyes indicating she will cry anytime. I quickly grab my hanky and handled in to her. "You're just to nice for them and to scared to face them" I honestly said, wiping off her tears using my hanky since she didn't response.

"Want me to hug you?" I offered since she can't stop herself from crying. I did not wait for her response and just wrapped my arms around her while leaning her head at the crook of my neck. "You're to nice for me" she managed to say between her sobs. I rub her back hoping for her to calm down. "And you're to soft for me" I joked, earning a not so hard punch from her. "You okay now?" I asked earning a nod. I watches her wipe her tears then I remembered the lollipop I got in my backpack.

"Hold on a second" I said, rummaging inside my bag. I grabbed two lollipops, one cola and one choco-vanilla flavored. I offered her one of my lollies and she took the choco-vanilla. "I hope this will cheer you up!" I energetically said, earning a soft chuckle from her. I unwraps my cola lolly and shoved it into my mouth.

"It did. Thank you so much, Vanilla" she said while happily eating her lollipop. We sat there for awhile finishing our lollipops when I remembered something again. "I think I need to go back to find Julia" I informed her, scratching my non itchy nape. She looks at me innocently still eating her lollipop. "Julia Parker? What for?" She asked, staring at me. "I haven't get my schedule yet" I replied finishing the last part of my lolly. I threw the stick somewhere and grabbed my water bottle.

"Want some water?" I offered but she shake her head. I drink my water and accidentally few drips off of my mouth. "Drink it slowly" Brianna said, smiling at me. "Thanks?" I said, unsure. Brianna just shrugs both of her shoulders and stood up from her seat. What is up to her this time?

"Let's go to my office" she proclaimed, offering me a hand. I look at her confused, earning a chuckle from her. "What? I'm in charged remember?" Brianna said, grabbing my hand. Geez. How could I easily forget that? But even before we reach the old door. I pulled away from her grip which startled her a bit. "You go first. They might hurt you too when they see us together" I said, checking my wrist watch. I don't know if its still the devil's hour or what but the time say, 12:55 NN, and who knows if those girls are still hunting me down. Aissh. Those psychopaths.

"They wouldn't try. Trust me" Brianna assured me and hold my hand again. "If you said so" I shrugged, intertwining our hands together. We walked side by side, earning some attentions from the students.

"Damn it! Brianna Kane found her first!"

"Lucky girl"

"I made sure I'll find her first tomorrow"

"Seulgi can't protect her that long"

"I do hope CARDS finally show up"

Hearing their annoying comments made me throw up like literally. I even saw Brianna lowered down her head still holding my hand. I just kept quiet but made sure to glared at those girls saying shits about me. Maybe today isn't the time YET but when it comes? I'll surely ripped their heads off one by one. We continued our way towards her office when 2 girls and 2 boys suddenly blocks our way.

"Hi Brianna~ and oh? Hi new student" one of the boys greeted us. Brianna bow her head and let go of my hand quickly. Like what I expected her to do. "What a coward" I mumbled to myself, facing the newly arrived guest. One of the girls, moved closer to me and examined my so gorgeous face. "You look like someone I know" she said, leaning closer to my face.

"Really? Nice" I answered sarcastically, holding Brianna's hand. I smiled widely at those 4 idiots and attempted to pass-by their figures but one of them pulls me backwards hard enough for me to stumbled to the floor hardly. I tried to hide the pain by dusting off my pants. I immediately stood up from the floor and maintain my posture. "That hurts" I innocently said. The idiots exchanged glances, one of them wrapped an arm around Brianna's waist making her uncomfortable but she didn't even move.

"Good thing it hurts you because if not? I'm willing to do it again" another boy said smirking.
