THE TRUTH ABOUT WILLIAM

Coming home from the border, William was still thinking about the painting of his mother that was posted in Mervin's room. This curiosity made William seek information from his friends who both work for Mervin, like himself.

"Have you guys ever been into Lord Mervin's chambers?" William asked his friends as they ate together at a round table in an area reserved for someone like himself.

"I've been in there, what's the matter?" asked a pale-faced man sitting directly in front of William.

"Have you ever seen a painting of a woman hanging in Lord Mervin's chambers?"

"Yes, I've seen the painting. What's with the painting?"

"Do you know who that woman is? It seems that Lord Mervin has special feelings for that woman," William provoked.

"Are you kidding...? Is it true that you don't know who that woman is?"

Willian shook his head, answering his friend's question.
