A NEW CHAPTER OF HAPPINESS AND REVENGE

Catherine smiled when she saw Louisa sleeping soundly on William's lap. The shaking of the train didn't wake her up. Catherine had to admit that William's embrace was warm and very comfortable. So, no matter how hard the shaking or in the worst place, if it were in William's arms, anyone would fall asleep soundly, including him.

Knowing that Catherine was looking at him, William's hand moved and grabbed his wife's finger.

"Get some rest! you must be tired," said William, who then cupped one of his freed hands to Catherine's head and rested it on his shoulder.

"You must be very tired too," said Catherine, wrapping her arm around William's.

"I can endure it. Aren't the shoulders of men made stronger than women so that they can be used to lean on their children and wives?"

"Where did those words come from? I think I just heard them."

"Words from me," answered William, making Catherine's mouth rumble, but her heart blossomed.
