NIGHT TOGETHER

"By bringing this deer head to Queen Annabelle will we be the victor?" Keneth asked.

"Our? Seriously. I shot this deer right in the heart. So even if I win, I won't win this race, not us," Isabel said while enjoying the roasted venison in her hands.

"I've been aiming for it, had you not stolen it from me, I would have shot it right in the heart."

"I didn't steal it from you, you just weren't fast enough. Just admit it if you lose to me."

"Remember My Lady, you won't be able to take this deer if I don't help you," Keneth quipped.

"I'm grateful that you're willing to help me, My Lord, but sadly, this victory is mine alone," Isabel persisted with her bounty.

Keneth laughed at Isabel's words because he didn't care about the victory. He was having fun with his hunt.

The howls of wolves began to be heard not far from their tent. Keneth also added wood to their bonfire so that no wild animals dared approach their tent.
