ISABEL'S RETURN

"What do you think Queen Annabelle and Father will decide for Keneth?" Isabel asked her mother, pacing the center of her room.

"Mother doesn't know, Lady. Try to understand your father's position. You always go against him," Florence advised her daughter.

"This time, I can't follow Father's words. I love Keneth and only with him can I be happy."

"Besides Keneth being Scottish, you are still engaged to James. You can't just ignore that fact, Lady."

"James? That man is so disgusting, Mother. When he kidnapped me, he tried to defame me. I don't want to marry him, I want to break this engagement."

"It's too risky. If we do, we'll be dealing with the Duke and Duchess of Leicester."

"I don't care about it, I will bear all the consequences. If I stay married to..." Isabel's words were cut off as her bedroom door opened and Harry entered his room.

Isabel immediately ran to her father.
