VINCENT'S INDECISION

Alice's sleep was interrupted when someone knocked on her bedroom door. She woke up and looked at her bedroom window. It's still too early for someone to visit. Afraid of being considered rude in other people's places, Alice got up from her bed to open the door.

She took the night robe draped over the end of the bed, wearing it to cover his body which was only wearing a thin transparent dress. She didn't want anyone to see her body, whoever the guest was, even if it was a servant. Feeling safe enough, Alice walked towards the door and opened the door.

A woman in a night robe and a sleepy face opened the door for Vincent. He knew it was too early, but Vincent needed to talk. Last night he couldn't sleep thinking about his engagement. The woman turned out to be an arrogant, haughty woman. Even Alice wasn't intimidated by the attitude Vincent had towards him.
