Little wolf

Ara gave him a room in her mansion when they arrived at her house. He went into the room and locked the door before taking a bath. He took his bath and changed out of his clothes and decided to take some rest. He closed his eyes and covered himself with a blanket and went to sleep.

Ara sent a servant to take Landon his food. She was not happy about having to take care of him but she had to do it for her prince. So she had some food made and sent over to him. The maid knocked on the door but didn't receive any reply. She knocked again and again for a long time but there was no reply. She took it upon herself to open the door with a shared key and let herself in.

She kept the food on the nightstand and went to wake Landon from his sleep. She tried to shake him to wake him but that didn't work. No matter what she did he didn't open his eyes. He touched his head and withdrew her hands at how hot his temperature was. She ran out of the room in a hurry to seek out her mistress.

She ran to Ara's room not taking a break anywhere. "Mistress," she said not taking a breath from her running.

"What is it?" asked a startled Ara.

"The lady you came home with won't open her eyes. Her body is burning, I think she has a fever," she said in one breath.

Ara had her take her to Landon to see for herself. She examined Landon when they reached his room and saw that he had a very high fever. " Send for the prince," she said, immediately the servant left the house in a hurry and ran down the streets. He took two right turns before she took a left turn and stood in front of the magnificent palace.

"Lady Ara requests the prince's audience right now," she said to the guards at the gate. The guards used a blue crystal to pass the message to the palace for the prince that Lady Ara wanted to see him.

The message reached the prince immediately. He left the palace in worry that the lady he entrusted with her must have caused her problems. He rushed out of the palace through the secret tunnel so no one would notice him leaving and went down the street to Ara's house.

He walked into the house and met the maid who had gone to call him also returning into the house. "Where is she?" he asked him and she led him to the room that Landon was in.

"What happened Ara?" he asked her.

"She has a high fever. I already called the doctor but I thought you should be here," she said not forgetting what Landon had told him about Theo being in love with him. She looked at him and wanted to ask why he betrayed her but thought it a thing for another time. "Take care of her," she said and excused herself out of the room.

Everything he needed to take care of Landon's fever was there for him. He took a seat on the bed. "Little lamb, you won't stop troubling me will you?" he asked him and sighed. He took the wet cloth from the water, squeezed the water out of it and placed it on top of Landon's forehead, and repeated the action over and over again.

He reached out to his dress to unbutton it. "It seems you are hell-bent on making my life miserable. I never wanted to see your body but you couldn't have that could you?" he asked him. "Now, I am forced to do this to ensure your fever doesn't get worse. I will make you pay for this when you are well," he threatened and unbuttoned her dress with his hands.

He placed his hand under his head and helped him up and removed the upper garment that she had on and set it aside. He left him with his camisole alone and reached out for the wet cloth to put on him. He brought it to her chest and froze. He thought that his eyes were deceiving him at what he was seeing so he set the piece of cloth down and went to lock the door.

He locked the door to the room and hoped for Landon's sake that all that he saw was just an illusion. He undressed Landon fully from head to toe and confirmed that he was not wrong. The person was indeed a male and not femme like he had been made to believe.

He stared at Landon's innocent face, anger roared through him as he felt the need to tear Landon to pieces for lying to him. All the lies he had told till then were pardonable but the game that he was playing was now getting on his nerve. He got his hand on Landon's neck to crush it under his firm grip but he heard a knock at the door.

"Theo, the doctor is here," he heard Ara say. He dressed Landon back up and opened the door for the female doctor to come in. He sat on the bed next to Landon using all his self-control to keep him from murdering the sleeping beauty that laid next to him.

The doctor examined Landon's pulse, his temperature and went to check his heartbeat but the prince's hand caught hers. He knew that if she touched his chest she would discover the secret that he had come to learn so he stopped her. "His heartbeat is fine," he said.

"His?' the doctor asked.

" Her, I meant to say her heartbeat is fine," she said with gritted teeth.

"Okay," the doctor replied not daring to challenge the prince on the matter. She prescribed some medicine that he wanted Landon to take and handed the note with the prescription to the prince.

"Little lamb or should I say little wolf," he said to Landon once the doctor stepped out. "You've chosen the wrong person to play this game with and now you will have to pay a price for it," he said and ordered the servant who called him to get the medicine he needed.

"Get better soon," he said with a malicious grin on his face.
