He understood that trees needed water. But Arian's was worse. He waited by the river bank. Watching the male dance around in the water.

The world as he knew it was frozen into ice and the only man that could fix everything was enjoying himself in the water. If Landon could, he would drag him by his ear and make him fix everything.

He thought of many different wants in which he could torture Arian into agreeing to save the world. None of which he could put into action.

"Landon is brave, but Keifer was smarter," Arian let out. "He wasn't stupid enough to let his thoughts run wild when I can hear all that he thought about. Compared to him, you lack," he added.
