Back to the village, she went. Hurriedly and with panting, she couldn't wait to tell someone about what just happened. She thought, "the others, I must tell the others about this!" Much to her surprise, there they were, grouped and doing anything available it seemed, some were sitting on a tree stump by the shoemaker's cave waiting for him to mend a shoe maybe. "Hey guys !" yelled Atohmma. She tried to gather as much as she could so she could tell her event in descriptive detail as she usually tried to. Atohmma was an extremist. She either spelled everything out or kept it all to herself. So they came closer and listened to what she wanted to say. At that moment, she decided to get a drink of water first, before she filled them in on the details. So she said, "hold on, I need a drink of water, I'll be right back." On her way to get the water, she saw her face in a nearby mirror and thought to herself, "oh my, I'm disheveled! I need to refresh myself." Immediately Atohmma was no longer perspiring or disheveled. Her hair was back in place and she was as fresh as she should be. She drank water and headed back to the others, not noticing herself. "Okay, now, what's so important, you need to tell us!" said Venomma as she made her way to Atohmma.
As she related the event with the unicorn, everyone was in awe and disbelief that it actually spoke. So they all laughed and some went away, groused and fuming because they didn't think Atohmma could be serious about anything. Not everyone fancied her, but she was unbothered by her enemies and she continued with her story. "Tonight, we will visit the pasture lands, when we can use our wings. We will hide in the trees and there we will see for ourselves if these unicorns speak," suggested Venomma. Atohmma didn't know what to say, so she agreed and decided to go along with the plan to prove her story. The rest of them agreed also and went back to their doings. Atohmma playfully skipped along as she headed to do what she had to all along, before getting distracted by the hurt unicorn.
Later that night, they all decided to split up and fly to the pasture lands. The night sky was beautiful and starry above, "such a full moon," said Orgamma to Atohmma. "Indeed, it's beautiful tonight," replied Atohmma. Orgamma was a male friend of Atohmma. He usually handles all the handyman stuff for the natives. He also loved ponies and had seven as pets. He liked fishing and he dreamed of becoming a warrior one day. As they all took their respective seats in the trees surrounding the pasture lands, they could see the unicorns, all silently standing, no speaking, uncommunicative to each other, while their horns glowed and the butterflies made rainbows in the midst of them. "So beautiful... I never knew it was so magical at night here and they are so peaceful, if only we didn't keep the others as pets, they would be here now, among all this splendour." whispered another nearby native. They all stood there waiting to hear the unicorns speak, to prove Atohmma's experience. But they heard nothing. So some flew away, disappointed and others waited patiently, while Atohmma thought," maybe if we went to them, they might then have something to say." So she fluttered toward Venomma and she signaled Orgamma and a few others to pay the unicorns a visit.
It was not customary for unicorns to have visitors at night, especially the natives, so it was a bit threatening to them when Atohmma and the others came close. The unicorns became aggressive and defensive of their territory. The butterflies flew away and Atohmma tried to calm the scene. To her aid, came Windsong, limping, and Atohmma flew to her, trying to get swift assistance in the failing mission. So she spoke to Windsong explaining what they were there to prove. Windsong, saying nothing understood Atohmma, but looked at the others and then back at Atohmma saying nothing. Atohmma said, "what's the matter, it's okay, you can say anything," Windsong walked away and then the other unicorns gathered further into the pastures where they could be undisturbed. Venomma said, "nevermind Atohmma, it's okay, we wouldn't have known how lovely it is here at night if it weren't for you." With that, she patted Atohmma on her wing and flew off. The others followed and they all returned home. Atohmma could hear one say, "it would have been better, she showed us some of her tricks instead of tricking us, hahaha!" Atohmma turned away, thinking "hmm... Soon you all will see for yourselves. Real soon."
