3 weeks later

Summer had woken up out of bed. Jade was already up looking at herself in the mirror.

Jade tied her hair up in a bun. Her silk black hair and black eyes.

"Sill having the nightmares?" Summer called over.

Jade turned her gaze from the mirror to Summer.

"You still haven't heard from your boyfriend?" Jade asked.

Summer rolled her eyes and got out of bed.

"He's not my boyfriend. And no I haven't heard from him. I've been worried." Summer said.

"I already told you. Nothing happened to him, he has Jerome with him." Jade claimed.

"Yea…at least that's what we think. But anyways, let's talk about your dreams." Summer said.

"Rather not." Jade replied.

Before Summer could say anything else Jade had walked out the door.

Jade walked out and there stood Frost.

His eyes were even more blue now. He had his hair undone so it wasn't up in a man bun at the moment.

"Well, I guess I don't need to knock anymore." Frost said.

Jade rolled her eyes and walked pass him. She was headed to captain Udo's building.

"What are you hiding?" Frost whispered to himself in a low voice."

Jade had busted in Udo's building. She could see him on the first floor cleaning up.

"About next weeks mission…..don't bring Adisa." Jade demanded.

Udo looked at her with confusion on his face.

"The hell do you mean?" Udo asked.

"Listen we both know that they want to use his powers. They even know what he looks like thanks to Jack." Jade said.

Udo started moving his pointer finger in a motion.

"No, no. That's to you they know what Adisa looks like." Udo said.

"And besides I don't know where Adisa and Jerome are. So I can't tell them." Udo said.

Udo started walking upstairs.

Jade could feel her anger starting to build.

"You all need to stop blaming me for what happened. You think I wanted this?" Jade asked.

Udo slowly turned his gaze to Jade.

"You think we asked you to think we're blaming you?" Udo asked.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Jade asked.

Udo smiled and walked up the stairs.

"Make friends Jade,Other then Summer. You have a lot in common with some troops." Udo said.

Udo left Jade's view. Jade stroked out of the building and headed towards the woods.

"Jade let's train together real quick." Xavier yelled over.

Jade looked to see the tall boy waving his hand with a smile on his face.

Xavier was fine young man. He had long hair that was slicked back,brown eyes,a slim body,with light skin.

"Sure…why not?" Jade hesitated.

"Hahaha, alright cool." Xavier said.

He grabbed his arrows and followed Jade into the woods.

"So what have you been up to?" Xavier asked Jade.

Jade was confused why he was asking her questions.

"Umm, I'm good. What about you?" Jade asked.

"I'm great. Could never be better." Xavier said.

Jade stopped. "This is where I train." She said in a bored way.

Xavier looked at the tress and could see a lot of things wrong with them.

They looked like they had holes in them and where upside down.

"Wow. You did this with just your energy?" Xavier asked.

Jade nodded.

"Well I wanted to test my aim, See if I could actually hit yah." Xavier said.

"You want to break past my barrier?" Jade asked.

"Yup." Xavier said.

"But…I'd rather you not have it." Xavier said.

Jade was shocked when she heard him say that.

"You need to see if your a good fighter without that energy barrier." Xavier said.

Jade was hesitant at first. But she went along with it.

"Don't worry I won't kill you or nothing." Xavier mentioned.

Jade walked to the tree and stopped in her tracks.

"Does he want to kill me or something?" Jade asked herself.

"There's still a slight problem. I don't really know how to control it." Jade said.

Xavier lowered his bow and walked over to Jade.

"Not true. You let people who you trust touch you. It's almost like your thinking about it,you just haven't realized it." Xavier said.

Jade started thinking about that time when Udo patted her on the head and when he stood close to him.

"For example." Xavier said as he walked closer towards her.

He stopped a couple inches away from Jade. It felt like a powerful force was keeping him from getting closer.

"If you rely on that power to much then y I'll be weak without it one day." Xavier said.

Jade started complaining and Frost could hear them from on top of the tree he was in.

Frost started remembering about him freezing up in the fight against Jack and Blaze.

Frost had anger built up inside him.

His long hair flowed in the wind as he got up. He was headed back to the clan.

"If only I had jumped in back then Blaze would still be alive,Including his people." Frost said to himself.

Frost thought about Jack's words. When he talked about having a family and it was taken away by the king.

Frost bald up his fist and walked even faster now.

"One day…..I'll kill you both. Father and sister." Frost said with determination.

While Frost was headed back to the clan Summer was now by herself in the room.

She pulled out her phone. She tried calling Adisa and Jerome. No answer from them.

"Where are you guys?" She asked herself.

She heard a knock on the door. She got up to answer it,And it was Frost.

"Let's have breakfast." He said.

Summer was confused but didn't mind the thought of eating.

When summer was done getting ready she had went outside to see Frost sitting on the roof waiting.

"So you think they got Adisa?" Frost asked.

They both started walking to a shop to buy food.

"Yes. And I haven't been talking to my mother either. It's been a couple days, and she wants Adisa safe." Summer said.

"By safe she means the queen has something up her sleeve for him." Frost thought.

"Well I'm pretty sure he's fine. We will see him soon,I'm sure of it." Frost said.

They both went into a store to see nothing but meat all over the counters.

"Where the hell are all the veggies?" Frost yelled.

A woman came around the corner.

"Sorry we're all out. But the meat today is on low price." The woman said.

Summer rolled her eyes and grabbed some meat to cook.

Her and Frost left and went into Adisa's house to eat.

"So this is where you've been staying." Frost said.

Summer nodded her head.

After a while Summer and Frost started making food together.

Both cracking jokes here and there.

When the food was done they sat down at the table and said a quick prayer.

"Time to eat." Frost said.

Frost didn't hesitate and started eating the food fast and aggressively.

Summer looked in disbelief.

"Um…your not worried about Adisa?" Summer asked.

Frost stopped eating and turned his light blue gaze to Summers eyes.

"Nope." Frost said.

"But you know what he is also. How could you not be worried?" Summer asked.

Frost started eating slowly now.

"I've known Adisa for years now. Out of all the missions we've been on, he's been gone longer then this. Plus he's with our fifth strongest member." Frost said.

"But I do have a question for you." Frost said.

"Yea….go on." Summer said.

"Why the hell are you teaching him how to use his powers?" Frost asked.

Frost put down his fork and stared Summer in her eyes.

"Do you not want him to extent his powers? Even now he can't even really awaken it, so stop worrying." Summer said.

Frost had an annoyed look on his face.

"If the prophecy is real then….you know that judgment will come soon. He's not one of us. At least he's the better version."

"That's my friends there. I don't want to fight him one day all because you you taught him how to use his powers." Frost said.

"What are you Planning?" Frost asked Summer.

Frost was demanded with his words.

Summer said nothing and ate quietly.

"I asked you a question." Frost said.

Summer lifted up her head to show her eyes glowing green.

"Just eat your food and shut up." Summer said.

She started smiling, how she used to all the time.

Frost could see green like aura forming around his body.

"Watch yourself. That mouth of your could get you in trouble." Summer added.

"Yea….same goes for you." Frost said.

Both had a little stare down, not moving a muscle.

"I think it's beat you leave for now." Summer said.

"No,no I don't think it's best. How about you make me." Frost said.

Summer raised her hand in the air but before she could do anything, Frost had already frozen it with his eyes.

In that moment the door flew open. Jade and Xavier was walking into the house.

Summer quickly lowers her hand below the table and made her aura go away.

Frost quickly put on a fake smile.

"Hey guys." Frost said.

Summer did the same.

Xavier and Jade sat down at the table also.

"Everything ok?" Xavier asked.

"Yep,Everything is just fine." Summer said while staring at Frost.

"Uhhh,we'll me and Jade were training. I finally got her to control her field thingy." Xavier said in happy tone.

Jade rolled her eyes and started turning red.

"I-whatever."

Frost got up from the table and started heading to the door.

"Where are you going Frost? You don't want to chat with our friends?" Summer yelled over.

Frost turned around with the biggest smile and said, "no thanks. We only have one week left before we leave and I'm gonna go train."

"Aww. I was hoping we would have a longer talk….Well bye. I'll see you VERY soon." Summer followed up.

Frost walked out and slammed the door shut.

"What's his problem?" Xavier asked.

"Frost has been very weird lately. I sure hope he's ok." Summer said.

Jade had suspicion on her face. She glared at Summer and got up from the table also.

"Cmon Xavier. I have a new move to try out." Jade said.

They both left the building with Xavier waving goodbye.

Meanwhile in Udo's office.

He was sitting in his chair looking at a photo.

It was his family.

He had a beautiful wife and five kids.

Udo held the picture and stared at it.

Udo had his head down. His long hair touched his gain desk.

"I miss you all so much,happy birthday….my son." Udo said in a sad way.

Udo tied up his locs in a ponytail way.

"I hope you all can forgive me."

Udo put the picture down and looked out his window.

He could see Xavier and Jade walking side by side,smiling,and laughing.

"Good Jade." Udo said with a smile on his face.

Udo was about to leave his office but his phone started ringing.

He looked down to see Adisa's name on the phone.

"Oh shit-"

Udo quickly answered the phone.

"Where are you? Where did they take the both of you?" Udo asked frantically.

Adisa laughed.

"We're fine captain. I just got my phone back. I've been taking time to myself with Jerome." Adisa said.

Udo let out a sigh of relief.

"That's good. So when will you be back?" Udo asked.

Adisa yelled over to Jerome asking when were they coming back.

There was a moment of silence. But Adisa replied saying tomorrow morning.

"Alright then. See you guys soon." Udo said.

He hung up the phone.

Meanwhile in a dark cave near the flame clan's remains.

There payed Jerome and Adisa.

Adisa was now taller,with more muscle,and his locs went past his eyes.

Jerome's hair was longer.

He sat on the outside of the cave and looked off into the distance.

"What are you thinking about?" Adisa asked Jerome in a deep voice.

Jerome took a moment to answer.

"All these people died" Jerome said in a dry way.

He looked down on the clan.

Adisa was sitting down far away from Jerome.

He was at least 200 meters or so away.

But since there was an echo they were talking normally.

Adisa stood up. He grabbed a pice of Rick and crushed it in his hand.

As the rock shattered away he was fading away also.

He ended up right next to Jerome now. Looking at the clan.

"I miss Blaze." Adisa said.

Jerome glared at Adisa then went back to the clan.

"We all miss people that were dear to us in our lives." Jerome said.

"Some people handle that pain differently though. Some go get drunk?act bad,get depressed, or keep moving forward."

"We all need to keep moving." Jerome said.

Adisa took a seat next to Jerome.

"Yea….I know." Adisa said.

Adisa was wearing tight white skinny jeans with a black shirt on.On top of the shirt was a Little Jean jacket, with a black cape on it.

"Well. Time to get back to work." Adisa said.

Adisa jumped out of the cave and vanished in thin air. Leaving nothing but ashes floating past Jerome's face.

"Ashes of death." Jerome said.

He quickly jumped out of the cave and followed Adisa.

Back at the Kani clan night was coming.

Everyone in the troop was doing some bond fire.

Udo,Frost,Summer,Jade,and Xavier were all around the fire. Just catching up on their day.

Xavier was bringing food over until he slipped and fell with it.

"Aww,come on man. After all that damn money I spent." Udo said.

Everyone started laughing their eyes out.

Xavier rolled his eyes and quickly got up.

He sat next to Jade who just stared at him.

"I'm glad all of you are doing ok. Adisa and Jerome are coming back also." Udo said.

"That's good to hear." Frost said.

Udo couldn't help but look at everyone and then see his family also.

The fire raged on.

Everyone laughing and enjoying themselves.

"Glad you all are in my life." Udo said.

Everyone fell quite and just stared at him.

"Thank you all. And I hope next week you all are ready." Udo said.

Udo got up and headed back to his building.

"I'm gonna get some rest. You all have fun." Udo said.

"Goodnight."

"Next week is his birthday. We should throw him a early surprise before we leave." Frost suggested.

"Yea I agree." Both Xavier and Jade said.

Summer said nothing and just stared at Frost.

"Hands together. No matter what happens in this mission we make sure we have each others backs." Xavier said.

He stood up and put his hand out over the fire. Wait hung for someone to put it over his.

Summer got up and walked over to Xavier's side.

She put her hands on Xavier's hand.

Frost got up and put his hand underneath Xavier's hand.

"Huh? Why the hell did you-don't worry about it." Frost interrupted.

Jade stood up also and placed her hand on top of Summers hand.

"We've got this guys." Xavier yelled at the top of his lungs.
