Goddess of destruction

Jade and Xavier didn't know what to do when seeing their comrades under control.

"We don't have time to fight them. And besides, this is most likely a decoy fight."

"Decoy fight? Like a distraction!?" Xavier asked.

"Yep. Exactly that."

Metal hardened his body and ran towards Jade.

Jade threw a jab in air and watched as it traveled though the air and hit Metal in his stomach area.

Hannah stared touching the floor and turned it into goo.

"What the hell?"

"Don't touch the floor!!" A Deep voice yelled out.

Xavier turned around to see Blue covered in blood and beaten up.

Jade quickly grabbed the girl and stood in place while Xavier headed back.

The goo like substance went around Jade.

"It can't touch her?" Blue asked.

"Well that's her power. She has a strong force of energy around her that protects her." Xavier explained.

"Geese that girl is annoying…can I kill her?" The little girl asked.

"What-no, shut up!!" Jade said.

"You guys go on ahead…I'll handle these three on my own." Blue suggested.

"What? You'll die-" before Xavier could finish . Blue had put his finger on Xavier's mouth.

"We need you guys healthy and alive. No one here knows their powers more than I do." Blue said.

"There under control…Bella is up there frozen also. And the ice is melting quickly by the second. I'll take her out and find a way to free my people." Blue said.

Jade had disbelief on her face. But she agreed with it.

Jade ran towards the door with the girl and they both bolted out.

Xavier quickly followed.

All three of them were running up stairs now.

"We need to get to the roof of this place and find out what's going on out there. We need eyes on our Enemy!" Jade said.

"This is so boring." The girl whispered.

Jade and the girl were a few steps ahead of Xavier.

Xavier was carrying is bow and arrows with him.

When running Xavier could hear something traveling from the outside.

"Jade duck down!!"

Jade grabbed the girl quickly and ducked.

A loud boom could've heard from what just tried to take her head off.

It was a very small hole in the wall but had so much force.

"They have a long shooter?" Xavier asked himself.

"You both go on ahead. That shot was meant to spit us up and I got the message!"

"Be safe, Xavier." Jade said.

She grabbed the girl and headed to the roof top of the building.

Xavier stayed back and looked through the hole to see where the shooter was.

"All seeing eye!!"

Everywhere Xavier could see white. But when he looked up high in the air he could see someone standing on a roof top.

"Was it her?"

Xavier oils see a woman with a big hat on and a long robe around her body.

Xavier was about to make a move until her felt a sharp pain on his right shoulder.

Xavier looked down to see he had been shot with the object.

"I didn't even hear it-" Xavier said as he fell back on the stairs.

"Does that mean there's two people?"

"Shit…I get it now. They probably want Jade back and one of them is keeping me from her."

"The woman on top….she's going after the girl and Jade!"

But while I'm down here…the person far away has amazing accuracy. If I can get near Jade it won't be a problem….but for the girl-thats it!"

Xavier bounces up quickly. He could feel himself slipping away every second.

"Stay awake…don't pass out!"

Xavier headed down stairs, while Jade was on the roof.

"I don't see anyone…just a bunch of people headed to one place. That must be where they are!" Jade said.

Before Jade could decide what to do she noticed buildings falling apart in the distance.

"Someone is headed our way." The girl said.

The destruction was headed right in the direction of Jade.

"Don't worry, I think I know who this is." Jade whispered.

In the distance Jade could see Laity on a piece of metal flying in the air.

Behind Laity were giant looking worm like creatures destroying everything in her path.

There were ten of them and they were huge.

"Oh….Laity. This is bad." Jade said.

Laity had stopped a couple yards away from the tower Jade stood on.

"Jade…come here or I'll make you. I'm not in the mood to talk." Laity said.

Jade pulled the girl even closer to her.

"I'm not going back…not now or ever!"

Laity rolled her eyes.

The giant creatures were surrounding the building and wrapping their bodies around it slowly.

"These people…they aren't winning this fight, and neither will you. You'll all die here. I'm trying to save you just how Jack did."

"Save me? From what? They aren't like my father!"

"Believe me…these people will chew you and spit you out. Both of you need to come with me now or this will get ugly. I don't mind destroying your body then building you back together, Jade."

Jade stood in silence.

She listened to the screams of the people below and the building being crushed.

"Just look around you. It's nothing but destruction and death. These people are easy to control."

"This is your doing though. We can still win this-"

"Stop it. You know everyone you've created bonds with will die here. I'm sorry to tell you that,Jade." Laity said.

Her voice was so calm. Almost like she had no emotion once so ever.

"These people…they aren't who you think you are…unlike you their lives are meaningless."

Jade looked around her to see five Heads from machine like creatures.

They had red eyes and a giant hole in their faces with sharp looking teeth.

"Shit….where are the other ones?" Jade asked herself.

"There's no need to worry. I won't attack." Laity said.

"Stay close to me." Jade said to the girl.

The girl said nothing and looked in amazement.

Jade got down in a squat like position.

"What are you planning?" Laity asked.

The girl climbed on Jade's back and watched closely.

Five more giant heads appeared behind Laity's body.

"I owe them….I can't turn my back on these guys now. If you want me to come back then….come get me!!"

Laity rolled her eyes.

"Fine by me." She said.

Laity pointed a finger at Jade. One of the giant heads opened its mouth wide and punched at Jade.

Jade watched as the snake/worm like machine opened its mouth and crushed its jaws.

"I forgot she had that annoying power….how fun." Laity said.

The head on the creature came regenerated back.

"If you won't get off the building, then I'll just crash it down."

Jade quickly threw a jab at the sky.

Laity looked in confusion. She felt a pain rip through her chest area.

She looked down to see that there was a hole in the middle of her chest.

"She's gotten stronger I suppose." Laity told her self.

Her body went flying into another huge tower.

When she made contact with the building it had fallen apart.

"Ones the time to run!" Jade told the girl.

"The worms can't move unless Laity allows them. We have to move now."

"But didn't you kill her with that air punch thing?" The girl asked.

"No. It takes more than that to kill Laity."

Jade sprinted to the other side of the tower and jumped off with no hesitation.

While in the air she moved her body towards another small building.

It was further away from the massacre down below.

"What the hell?"

Jade could feel a hard object that stopped her from falling.

A piece of the building had stretched out and wrapped itself around her leg.

Jade looked up to see Laity healing her wounds.

The little girl could see Laity on the roof. She bent over and touched the roof.

The girl looked in shock as she could see the roof form into a liquid and go into Laity's hole in her chest.

It was completely healed.

Laity pointed at Jade while she was stuck on the weird like substance.

"Shit…we're hanging in mid air."

"Listen to me…..just let me go, I'll be fine!" The girl said.

"What?! No, it's my job to protect you right now!"

"I know I'm holding you back…and besides I know your power can add more heat."

Jade looked could see Laity's machines circling around the building getting ready to devour her.

"They can't hurt me…but they can hurt you. If you let go I'll be fine, trust me. Just let everything you've got out, I'll be far away when it happens." The girl said.

"Let it out? Heat? What are you saying?!"

The little girl let go and was falling down.

"As she was going past Jade's ear she whispered, "I know you've got a lot of weight on your shoulders….don't be scared to let it out, it's not like you can help it either. Good luck now."

The girl disappeared from Jade's view when she fell.

Jade looked down with defeat on her face. "I-I can't do it….I'm to weak to accept it." She said.

The ten creatures where getting closer and closer.

Jade pulled out her sword and cut the piece that was holding her up.

"I can't quite now though….there has to be a way."

"All I have to do is focus on my feet. And I can stick to the side of the building like a spider."

Jade closed her eyes and focused.

She landed on the side of the building and was facing sideways now.

"There….no to deal with these ten things."

Jade could see the ten creatures attack now.

She dodged the first one and began to run on its back.

The other nine lunged at her but she jumped in the air.

They were so big that the whole tower was collapsing.

"Where will you go now? Your stuck in the air!" Laity yelled out.

Jade looked down to see ten giant mouths below her feet.

Jade glared at the machines and watched as they fell back down.

Jade landed back on the building and kept running at Laity.

The worms one by one ran their bodies down the building trying to eat Jade.

Jade sliced each head off one by one.

"She's still running at me….knowing how futile it is. Are they worth that much to you?" Laity asked herself.

Jade stopped on her tracks when seeing the last one open it's mouth wide.

"Release." Laity whispered.

The creature shot a beam of energy at Jade.

Jade had fear that quickly shifted over to a smile on her face.

"Not yet."

Laity could see Jade disappear into to the beam of energy.

The blast was so strong it created a huge hole in the ground below them.

It looked like the opening of hell.

"As long as we have her brain, she will be just fine."

Laity was about to stop the creature from doing anymore harm.

But she could see a eye ball looking her dead in the eyes through the blast.

In one swift motion, Jade went through the blast.

It was so fast that Laity couldn't even react in time.

Jade stopped her blade right in front of Laity's eye.

"When I'm the hell did you-"

The giant machine like creature lunched at Jade from behind.

But it stopped in its tracks.

"What the hell is wrong with it?" Laity asked.

Laity looked in shock as the machine split in half and plummeted to the bottom of the tower.

"Your going to tell me everything! What is your plan with the girl!?" Jade asked in a demanding tone.

"You could have injured my eye…..but you didn't take the swing. You really have changed." Laity said.

"You barley know me. You don't even understand me!" Jade yelled.

Laity had Metal from the building come on her hand while she was holding Jade's sword back.

"I don't understand you?"

"No…you don't."

"Is that so? What it it I don't understand then?"

"Just shut up. Leave while I'll still allow it!" Jade snapped.

"You aren't stronger than me….at least, not like this. I think we have more in common than you know."

"My whole life I've been a tool…you know nothing about being loneliness, being afraid, being used your whole life. Just shut up!"

Jade kept on going.

"Look around you, look what your doing to these people. You have thousands of them killing each other, destroying buildings. Soon after, they will be fighting their own damn military force!"

Jade ran out of breath and fell on one knee.

"Interesting." Laity said.

Jade got up and tried to stab her again.

Laity walked to the left to dodge.

"Your attacks are slower….you must be tired."

Jade ignored Laity's comments and swung her sword again. This time Laity took the Sword in a swift motion and stabbed Jade in the shoulder.

Jade fell back, about to fall off the tower. Laity caught her before falling and pulled her back to head but her.

She grabbed Jade by the shirt and threw her across the roof.

Jade got up to attack but quickly felt weight down on her shoulders.

Around her body was some weird goo.

"I can't move." Jade thought to herself.

Laity approached slowly with Jade's sword in her hand.

"Stay back…I'm not finished yet!"

Jade glared once again at Laity.

Laity could see the attack coming and dodged it easily.

When Laity got close enough she held Jade's eyes open.

Jade was looking down at the end of her own sword blade.

"St-stop it." She whispered.

"Don't worry. I can't kill you anyways."

"Jade listen to me….you need to come with me."

"I'd rather die!"

Laity fell in silence.

Jade was stabbed once again in her chest area.

Jade started coughing up a lot of blood.

"Shit….at this rate I'll die!" Jade said.

"Like I said….you need to come with me. They can't help your pain, Jade." Laity said.

"Just shut up…you witch.." Jade was losing a lot of blood.

"You said I don't know what it's like to be used as a tool or be lonely…but I'm reality it's just not true."

"We all have our reasons for doing what we do…including you and me Jade. But let me explain something about not "understanding you." Laity said.

"In the village I was raised, is woman had to cover our faces in public and were allowed to only speak to people when a man allowed it. Most young girl were sold and used for sex. I was one of them."

"My mother tried to stop the group of men that broke into my home….but they killed her and took me away. I screamed in public and asked for help, but everyone ignored me. It was very normal for it to happen there, you just had to hope you weren't next."

"I didn't have my powers at the time and I was just waiting to unlock them….if they weren't gonna be strong then I'd have to be a slave my whole life. I was counting on it."

"My whole life….I've been a tool for someone's pleasure,my whole life I've been lonely and depressed from my experiences in life."

"It's what made me who I am today. That's the way things went in my village. Woman nothing but tools for sex and money."

"So you see,I do understand your pain in life. Being lonely and used as a tool. I just don't think you can understand mine, Jade."

Laity looked down to see Jade looking at the ground with sarrow in her eyes.

"Why the sad look? I don't understand your life….am I right?" Laity asked.

Jade said nothing.

"The reason I want to destroy and kill is because of the people that messed up my life. I've accepted what i am and it's not my fault for what I am. It's the society that we were born in that made us who we are."

"We both know what it's like to be used to satisfy one's needs and be lonely. No one will understand you unless there are others like you."

Jade began crying while looking at the ground with agony on her face.

"No need to cry, Jade. We were both used by this world's people. And that's why made us strong. With our destructive power. And the sooner you realize your powers aren't meant for saving, then the better!" Laity explained. There was no emotion from her once so ever.

Jade started reminiscing on her child hood and how happy she was before her father started to train and abuse her.

(I was a tool)

"My father abused me and trained me all the was till the sun set."

(I was lonely.)

"No one talked to me or helped me…it was…it was normal for them to see it."

(Depression and sadness)

"I was depressed from it and was confused."

Jade thought about what Laity said while also thinking about her life.

"We both….have been controlled by this world." Jade said with sadness.

Laity put her hand on the building and started healing Jade.

Jade could feel her chest being put back together from the building parts.

"But….that doesn't mean that you all aren't crazy."

"What's that?"

"Jack took advantage of a confused girl of both of us! We were at are weak points in life and we were so easy to follow him!!" Jade yelled out.

"If it weren't for me or his plan then he'd be abusing you to be the perfect warrior, Jade."

Jade's heart stopped for a second as she heard what Laity said.

"Wait….what did you say?" Jade said it in a low and lifeless voice.

"I'll put it in simple words for you. If it weren't for me killing your father and destroy long most of your home that day…then he'd still be alive and abusing you."

Jade fell in silence.

"So your telling me….that day when my father died. It was you? Your the reason I attacked the Kani? Killed all those people? You killed my people!?"

Laity rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Yes I did and no I'm not the reason you killed a lot of people from Kani. That was all your doing."

"It's not the fact you killed my father or anything but….all the innocent people are dead because of you. I….." Jade stopped speaking and thought about everything she had done to get revenge for her fathers death.

Deep down she still loves him and misses him dearly.

"All the people…all of them!!" Jade started to get angry.

In that moment Jade could see herself sitting in the grass and looking at Udo.

These were her memories before coming to the city with the others.

Udo took a seat next to Jade in the grass. Jade could feel the ground shake as the man sat down.

"You haven't been yourself lately. Something wrong?" Udo asked Jade.

"Nothing is wrong with me."

"I think your just in regret for what you did."

"Yea I am….I feel bad for taking people's families away from them."

"People die every day and lose their loved ones everyday. You didn't know, anyways."

Jade kept playing with the grass.

Udo tapped Jade on the head with his giant fingers.

"There's nothing wrong with it. Trust me. You need to learn how to own up to it and accept it. I know you have a lot of pain and regret in your heart, and that's ok. Just learn how to let it go. Your powers aren't meant for protecting…they're meant to destroy. So own up to it,Jade. Or else….you'll never recover. If your a killer then just say it, if you like destruction just say it, just be you and let your true powers go wild. Out of all the troops…you are one of the deadliest. Your like a goddess of destruction!"

Jade snapped back to reality.

Laity was getting ready to take Jade away and find the girl.

(Just let everything out, I'll be far away when it happens) Jade remembers what the girl said before letting go.

"Who knew your sword could go through your own field…interesting." Laity said.

Jade was healed but was still bleeding.

In a blink of an eye, Jade broke out of the metal and tried to kill Laity.

Laity quickly hardened her first with parts from other buildings and punched Kade off the building.

Jade landed on the ground and created a crack on the street.

"If only you'd come with me!" Laity yelled all the way on the roof of the building.

(Don't you dare look down on me.) Jade thought to herself.

People that were under control started charging at Jade and tried to stab her.

But her force field kept her from being harmed.

"Let it out….my true power, be free and accept it."

Jade closed her eyes and held her hands together.

Laity looked closely from the roof and watched.

"What's this?"

"I'll do it now! Let everything out. Use eve thing I've got. It doesn't matter about the people….I'd be here then so be it, I've got to see this one through." Jade said.

"Boost expansion: Judgment day!"

Laity could feel the earth shaking and everything falling apart.

A huge crack started to form in the middle of the city.

Everything was being crushed, including the people that were attacking Jade.

Laity could see the shock wave that was crushing everything getting closer and closer by the second.

Building were being lifted in the air and used to create needles in the sky.

Laity had a little smile on her face. "No wonder why he trained you so much...Jack could see the potential in you!" Laity yelled over to Jade.

Laity quickly taped her foot and used the metal around her to make a huge bridge that stretched out far in the city.

Laity got far away as possible. She than turned around to see the destruction Jade had felt to the people and city.

"Buildings floating, lava coming from the earth, and thousands dead….amazing! And all in a couple of seconds. It seems as though this expansion has a 100 meter range. But I can't get near her at all, anything that's within that range will be Erased."

Laity could see Jade from far away approaching her.

Jade's eyes where all white, no color in them at all. Her hair was no longer tied up and hanging down. It was up facing the sky.

Her jeans where so ripped, now they looked like shorts.

"How am I supposed to fight that? If I'm too close I'll die, and she has hundreds of buildings in the air to throw at me….well then, this will be entertaining." Laity said to herself.

Laity sighed with an annoyed look on her face.

Jade was far away but Laity could see her clearly with all the stuff being destroyed.

"She's fallen back?" Jade said in her new voice.

It sounded as though there were more than one person talking inside of her.

Jade looked up to see Laity standing on her weird like bridge structure.

"There she is."

Jade pointed at Jade. "Air cut off!"

All of a sudden Laity lost the ability to breath.

"What's this?! She cut off the atmosphere where I'm standing?!" Laity thought to herself.

Laity started to hold her neck looking around to escape and get air.

Laity was on the ground struggling. She looked up to see a giant building thrown at her.

(I have to move quickly, damn it!)

Laity tried to love but couldn't. The atmosphere in her area was completely gone.

She released the bridge that she was on and fell to the ground. The building nearly missed her.

All of a sudden Laity could breath again.

"That must…also have a range on it." Laity was out of breath.

Laity was on her back looking up at the sky.

"I can't fight her at this distance…I have to get close to her. That's where I specialize anyways, in close fighting. Lucky I have all the matter in the world here." Laity put both her hands on the ground.

"Expansion…Life giver!"

"What's this feeling?" Jade asked herself.

Jade looked around her to see that all the towers and buildings in the area were starting to become dust and flowed towards Laity.

It looked like a huge sand storm, but all of it was going inside of one person.

"I see….so that's your plan, huh Laity? Your going to regenerate faster than my field destroys?" Jade asked.

"I'll just see if it's actually strong."

Jade lifted off the ground and started flying towards Laity.

Everything around Jade was being crushed by her field and turned into dust from Laity's power.

Jade was getting close to Laity.

Laity stomped her foot. The giant worm like machines came back from the ground.

Laity hopped on top of one and charged right at Jade.

He machines made building fall. It felt as though it were an earthquake.

"I don't know what this feeling is but….I'm having fun!" Laity yelled.

Laity and the ten giant creatures were getting closer and closer to Jade and her field.

Jade was flying at full speed towards them. She put one hand out far with the other one back. She was getting ready to punch the creature that Laity was riding on.

Laity started feeling the effects of Jade's new field.

"Feels like my skin is being ripped off….but it's fine, with my expansion I can regenerate at the speed of light." Laity said.

Jade felt a mighty blow to one of the giant creatures.

It was with so much force that the punch had a faint shockwave that ripped building from the ground in the surrounding area.

Laity quickly jumped on to another one of the creatures.

"She regenerating faster than my field is hurting her!"

Jade flew up towards Laity and threw an air jab at her. It connected.

Laity felt the pain in her chest once again.

She looked down to see the hole again. This time she let out a laugh of joy. "I haven't had this much fun in a while Jade."

Jade was shocked to see the wound had already healed in the blink of an eye.

Laity snapped a finger and made one creature Lunge at Jade.

The creature fell apart into ashes.

"So she has the little field around her also….I can use my machines to get close to her and use her own weapon against her!" Laity thought to herself.

Laity started running around along the giants backs.

They both were moving so fast after each one that the girl couldn't see them anymore. It was as if they had gone to another world.

"This is…this is insane, even I can't follower their movements….and from this far their aura is insanely strong. Is this your true power, Jade?!" The girl asked herself.

Frost and Summer stopped running and turned around to see Jade flying around in the sky.

"What the hell?" Frost said.

Summer looked in amazement at the two fighting each other.

"Should we help?" Frost asked Summer.

Summer had a little smile on her face. "No, there's no point."

Jade jumped on top of the other machine and ripped its head off, then threw it at Laity.

Laity clapped her hands together. The machine turned into dust and went into her body.

"Don't you get it!? You can't hurt me, Jade!" Laity yelled out.

Before Jade could land back on the ground she felt metal around her rib cage area.

She looked down to see she had been caught and tied up by Metal from the ground.

She was tied in air and was hanging upside down.

"How is her powers touching me?!" Jade asked.

Laity started walking towards Jade's hanging body.

"It's simple really, your power is somehow weaker than before and I know from behind its weakest."

Laity snapped her fingers. When doing so the ground underneath her formed into a circle. She was now face to face with Jade.

"She used the ground to create that?!" Jade said to herself.

Laity had made some weird building that went in the sky to Jade.

"Now that I'm close….look around you Jade. Both of our powers have done all this damage."

Jade took a moment to look around her and see all the destruction.

(My power is still going…she's using the building I destroy and the building that are standing to heal herself. With her expansion she doesn't need to touch matter enable to heal herself or absorb)

(I get it now…that's how I'll beat her!)

Laity put one hand on Jade's face.

"I'll be absorbing you for now…I had fun, but I've never lost a battle before."

Jade quickly broke out of the metal.

In a flash Laity stomped her foot down. The object lifted her higher and higher in the sky. With the machines wrapping around it.

"If I can condense all this force into something smaller then I can-hahaha!" Jade was dying of laughter.

She took off in the sky headed straight for Laity.

"She drew me in pretending her powers were off….this child is Insane!!"

They were both so high that they could no longer see the city below them. They were above the clouds.

"Air cut off!"

Laity couldn't breath once again. "Not this move again!!"

Jade was getting closer and closer to Laity.

"Shit…there's nothing up here for me to regenerate with. That was your plan all along, huh?!" Laity yelled out.

Jade said nothing and flew even faster towards Laity.

Laity's machines all jumped off and turned into dust.

Laity jumped off her sky scrapper and was headed right for Jade.

(What the hell is she doing?) Jade thought.

"If I can't get to the ground, then I'll just use my machines!"

The giant machines turned into huge wings that formed on Laity's back.

Laity pulled out Jade's sword. Jade completely stopped.

"This is what you fear the most huh? Forget taking you back alive, I'll kill you and we will find a new person to replace you." Laity said while floating still with her large, brown like wings."

"Jack will kill you if you do that."

"You think I care about my life?"

"Laity….I'd rather not kill you but if it comes to that, then so be it."

"Enough with the talking. I'll jab this in your heart and watch you die slowly."

Laity flew right to Jade.

Jade took off in the opposite direction and tried to lose her in the clouds.

"I can still win this…I just have to hit her." Jade said.

Jade could feel the wind on her face, with her hair blowing in the wind.

Laity was close behind her.

Laity swung the sword at Jade, but Jade quickly flew out of the way.

Jade then turned around and threw a air jab at Laity.

Laity used Jade's sword to block the attack.

When Laity blocked the attack, Jade was gone from view.

"Where did you go Jade!?" Laity yelled.

It was dark and it was hard to see in the clouds.

Laity suddenly felt pain on her back. She had been slashed by Jade's little dagger.

"Son of a-" Laity was cut off from Jade's powerful punches.

Laity quickly grabbed Jade by her arm and pulled her in close to the sword.

"Air jab!!" Jade punched threw Laity's body. Laity started coughing up blood. But she stabbed Jade through her body also.

Both of them were wounded severely. "If I die…I'm taking you with me!" Laity said.

"You'll be the only one dying today…Laity."

Jade held her arm back as far as she could extend it.

"This move was taught to me by Udo of the Kani clan!"

Laity watched as Jade's aura field left from around her body on to her hand.

The whole energy in the area went into Jade's hand.

(Her expansion field and aura field are both going into her hand!?) Laity thought to herself.

"Second expansion: Crasher Ball!" Jade yelled.

She flipped Laity over with her back facing the earth.

"A second expansion!?" Laity asked in shock.

Jade jumped and did a back flip off of Laity.

"Yea, and the survival rate of this attack is zero percent if it hits you…I'm sorry Laity."

It was like the work went in slow motion.

Laity watched Jade get closer and closer. "There's no way I can lose…I-I haven't even gotten to hold my son.."Laity whispered to herself.

Jade punched Laity and started going towards the ground.

Jade could see Laity's face breaking apart. Almost as if she was evaporating.

Both of them bursted through the colloids for the whole city to see.

Jerome and Jericho both stopped to look up. Everyone in the city was looking in the sky even the controlled people.

"A meteor?" The girl asked.

Jade made contact with the ground with Laity.

The force was so strong it sent out a powerful. Shockwave in the area.

It was as though a meteor had hit the earth. The ground started to rise up and fall with building being torn apart.

Jerome could see the shock wave headed their way.

"Shit…in this range we're all gone be hit!" Jericho yelled out.

Jerome stepped in front of Jericho.

"Reappears void!"

Frost and Summer ran to cover. Half of the city was completely destroyed now.

The smoke cleared and Jade was on top of Laity.

Laity made no movements. Jade got up and started to limp away. She was bleeding out.

"I need…water." She said.

Around her was lava, there was no were for her to go now.

Jade could hear someone walking behind her. She slowly turned around to see Laity approaching her.

Laity was holding her stomach and was also limping.

"N-no stay away!" Jade screamed.

Jade fell down in fear and stared at Laity with horror in her eyes.

Laity got on one knee and put her hand on Jade's stomach.

Jade was confused by what was happening.

Jade could see her skin coming back and the bleeding stopped.

Jade looked up at Laity. Why? Why did you-because you remind me of the old me…confused and lost. Laity cut off Jade.

Jade could see Laity's body starting to fade away.

Jade didn't know what to say. She was so shocked by what was going on.

"I know…you have a lot to say but it's ok. I understand your pain. One of the reasons I'm doing all of this…is to see my son. But I know now that I won't be able to see him." Laity explained.

Laity ripped off her robe and handed it to Jade.

Jade could see scars all around Laity's body.

"Scars?" Jade asked.

Laity nodded slowly. Laity had ripped joggers on with just a bra. Jade could see clearly all the pain she went through in life.

"Some scars…I just can't heal." Laity said.

Jade had tears running down her face.

"I can't heal these scars Jade…but you can heal my guilt. I believe in you." Laity said.

Laity smiled but had sadness in her eyes. She looked to be tired of the pain in life. A tear came from her face as the rest of her body had disappeared into the air.

Jade started crying in agony. She had a very dreadful look on her face as Laity was no longer there with her.

Jade soon passed out in the opening from crying and exhaustion.
