Immortality

Aliyah watched in shock as Winter got back up and attached her head to her body.

"You can't die or something?" Aliyah asked.

"Hehe, you really are an idiot." Winter whispered.

Winter walked slowly towards Aliyah. Aliyah took a couple steps back.

(She's making us all look weak! Me and Trover can't handle this! Jerome's down and to make things worse…she can't die!)

"If we retreat to the surface then…the mission will fail. But…that means she also fails too." Aliyah stared to think hard.

"Ice whip." A long string of ice formed on the floor. Winter had a little smile on her face.

"You think I care about the surface!? I'll show you just where we are, exactly!" Winter yelled.

Aliyah quickly ran down the hall in the opposite direction.

"Reaper's traveling hand." Jerome said.

Trover and him both teleported further down the hall.

Winter started swinging her whip around. The hall was falling apart. The roof was also being destroyed.

"Look at the little rats running away!" Winter yelled.

Just then, Winter could see a flash of green light headed straight towards her. In a flash her whip was cut to pieces. Trover appeared quickly behind her while Aliyah was in front.

(Both of them use staff weapon's. So one of them has a blade?)

Winter quickly ducked making Trover almost hit Aliyah. Winter jumped to the side and waved the both of them over.

Aliyah quickly ran towards her with Trover following.

"Frost sword!"

Aliyah and Trover were throwing everything they had at Winter. She was blocking their attacks well with her sword.

All three of them were moving so fast that the whole underground system was shaking.

Trover could feel his body getting more and more cold by the second. "Shit…I don't have much time!" He said as winter slashed the left side of his face.

Trover fell back in agony. Winter jumped in the air and tried to penetrate Trover through the stomach.

Aliyah jumped on top of Trover and used her hand to stop the blade. The sword was through her left hand now.

"Isn't this adorable! You'd sacrifice yourself for this weak trash!?" Winter asked.

"We got you right where we want you, Winter!" Aliyah yelled.

Trover turned his head. "Now, Jerome!"

In the dark depths of the hall, purple aura could be seen with red glowing eyes.

"Reapers calling: mini part!"

A giant hand with aura covered around it came out the shadows and grabbed Winter.

"I made a contract with the reaper inside of me. Her immortality powers are gone for the next ten minutes." Jerome explained as he walked out of the shadows.

He raised his hand in the air and squeezed tightly.

The reaper's giant hand lifted Winter through the roof. Bringing her to the surface.

People were walking around peacefully as they were waiting for the announcement.

"I'm so excited to finally see the king , mom! A little girl said.

The ground began to shake below Everyone. A giant hand covered in thick armor came from underground.

Winter was held tight in it's grasp. Everyone. Watched in horror as the hand squeezed Winter. Blood went flying everywhere as Winter stared at the ground with blood coming from her mouth.

"Miss Winter!?" Someone screamed.

"All of you…back in your houses, now!" Winter yelled.

Winter looked down to see her lower half completely crushed.

"That's Jerome for yah. Always coming out of no where. But…I can't feel pain. I absorb the snow in the area and that gives me life. I might die slowly but…it'll last longer than ten minutes." Winter whispered to herself.

Trover,Aliyah, and Jerome all climbed out of the hole and on the surface.

"It's freezing up here, damn it." Trover whispered to himself as he coughed up blood.

"Shit. Looks like times almost up!" He said.

"Hahaha. You'll die a decent death after all!" Winter yelled while being crushed.

"Shut up!" Jerome spat back.

"Get rid of your ice spell now!" Aliyah demanded.

Winter looked around at everyone who stared in fear.

"Do you want to know something VERY interesting?" Winter asked.

Jerome tightened his grip in anger. The gaint hand squeezed even tighter. Winter still had a smile on her face, as though it didn't hurt her at all.

"Your all in the frost clan. The clan with snow all around it. Do you know what our skin is mostly made of? That's right, ice, snow, water, whatever you think. If we are in our habitat then our eyes get brighter. That's because we gain power the longer we're in the snow. But what if one person was to absorb everyone around them and use their bodies? What do you think would happen then?" Winter asked.

Everyone stood in shock. "Don't tell me your-your Insane!" Jerome yelled.

Winter started Turing red and laughing. She bit her finger and stared right at Jerome. "I'm not insane…I'm a damn maniac!!"

Winter quickly clapped her hands. Everyone from the frost clan in the surrounding area turned into dust. They all went into Winter's body.

"My grip…the reaper can't hold her. She's to powerful!" Jerome said.

It was though a giant storm had came. Jerome and the others fled back. Trover was still bleeding from his mouth.

"If I'm going to die soon then…I need to last long enough to-no,no, not yet!" Trover said as he picked up his staff.

"You can still fight?" Aliyah asked.

"No. But I've got no choice. No matter what, I will see this mission complete! I won't let my home die! No here or ever!" Trover yelled.

Winter's transformation was so great that the wind was blowing everything away. "We're all fighting for something. I'll just use the downs in my life as a weapon! I can last!" Trover said.

Once the air cleared Winter could be seen walking towards the three of them. Slowly with a smile on her face.

Jerome grabbed his sword. "Aliyah, how much time if left?"

"We have eight minutes to kill her. There's no one else she can absorb in the area. So we should be good."

"Yeah, but she can also absorb snow in general. But i think that's only so she doesn't feel anything or so. It helps her aura…that's all I know." Jerome said.

"We need a plane and fast. I don't know but…this ain't the clan. It's like we're in a small town or some sorts. We aren't near Nzinga or Frost at all." Aliyah explained.

"We can worry about that later. Right now it's all simple." Jerome said as he stood in between Aliyah and Trover.

"We kill Winter!" The three of them said.

"Are you all done plotting? I would love to kill you all right here and now! You platinum level warriors are nothing to a master level!" Winter said as she walked towards the three.

(Her legs completely healed? Must be from the snow. I could use my domain here but since the snow has aura From their people…it might be weakened. Unless we use his at the eighth moment-) Trover quickly turned his gaze to Trover.

"Trover…your the key to bring in her down." Jerome said.

"What…makes you say that, Jerome?" Trover asked as he was running out of breath.

"Your expansion. But I know if you use it then…"

"I understand! I'll hit her with it then. Don't worry about what the cost is. I've got something to fix that!" Trover said.

"Are you sure? I don't want your life in danger."

"Yea, I'm sure."

Trover took a step toward and then looked back at Jerome.

"Your an amazing guy, Jerome. People might not be able to see it but. Your heart…it's full of kindness. People with kind hearts are naturally kind themselves. Don't forget that." He said as took off running at Winter.

Jerome stood in place with shock. "I-I remember those words! Someone told me that long ago! Who was that again?"

Jerome snapped out of thought and ran at Winter also with Aliyah close behind him.

Winter kept walking with a smile. She snapped her fingers and two giant work like creatures made of snow appeared behind her. They were huge.

"Tear them apart!" She yelled.

Aliyah jumped in front of the two and clapped her hands together. She then created a weird hand sign.

"Root core."

Roots from the ground appeared and wrapped around both the creatures bodies, holding them in place.

Jerome jumped in the air and put two hands on his sword.

"Reaper slash!"

Purple aura formed around the sword. Jerome brought his blade down on one of the worm-like creatures and watched as the aura traveled over to the next. Cutting both of them in half.

Winter could see the aura from the slash approaching her.

She held out her hand and watched as the aura disappeared.

Winter looked in surprise when seeing Trover behind the thick, purple aura.

"I see. When Jerome jumped in the air so did he. He used the slash as a distraction and hid Trover behind the aura. That's very, very impressive!" Winter said to herself.

Trover pushed a small button on the side of his staff. A good sized blade came from the end piece. He swung it at Winter in a odd fashion.

Winter jumped back and studied. (Why odd movements. This is to throw me off?"

"Ice shield!"

A shield formed on the right arm of Winter. She blocked each of Trover's attacks. Jerome came up behind her with his sword.

She jumped in the air. She noticed Aliyah wasn't on the ground anymore. She readjusted her body and turned it around while in air, to see Aliyah headed right towards her.

Aliyah hot Winter with her staff and sent her flying into multiple buildings.

"Now we spread out!" Aliyah said.

All three of them quickly disappeared from view.

Winter got up and looked around. She was in the pitch black.

(I went through at least five building's. This looks like a mirror room. Shit!) she thought to herself.

When she got up, she could see reflections of herself everywhere.

She turned around to see Jerome standing in front of her. Winter quickly froze the mirror and watched in crack.

"That wasn't him!?"

"Why are you in such a rush!? The fun is only beginning, Winter." Jerome said in a calm voice.

"I'm not some child you can fool, Jerome!" Winter yelled out.

She punched the floor and spreader ice everywhere through the building.

She could hear footsteps approaching behind her quickly.

Jerome jumped up getting ready to slash Winter's back.

"I can travel at the speed of light with this technique!"

Before Jerome could hit Winter she disappeared with the blink of an eye.

"Where did she-"

Jerome turned around and blocked the attack from Winter.

"You can sense me, can't you!?" She asked in excitement."

Jerome said nothing but slid across the ice beneath his feet.

"Ice sword!" A long sword formed in Winter's hand.

She moved so quickly that it looked like a beam of light blue lights flying around.

Jerome stared to speed up also. Two of them where moving so fast that they began to teleport from area to area in the building.

Jerome started to move his sword so fast that it disappeared from Winter's view.

She was slashed on her right shoulder. (He managed to actually injure me!?)

He put the sword back in its holder and closed his eyes. Winter was moving around so fast he could barley see her.

"Focus on the aura level, Jerome." He told himself.

Just then he felt a burning sensation behind him to the left. He turned around quickly. "Reapers slash!" The attack landed once again on Winter.

Winter's eye ms changed shapes. They went from half a ice flake into a full one.

She closed her right eye and started at Jerome.

"Black devastation!" She yelled.

Jerome looked down and noticed the ice turning black around him.

Spikes came out of his left arm. Jerome fell back in pain.

"You made me have to use some of my full power, Jerome. You have my respect for pushing me this far! But I'm gonna make sure you regret it if it's the last thing I do, you little cutie!"

Jerome got up slowly and tried to run at her again. He fell back down. "Reaper death ball!" A huge ball of energy formed in Jerome's left hand. He threw it at Winter. She laughed in amusement at the giant attack. She opened her eyes wider thank usual and froze it in place.

"I knew it. She's just like the Jack guy. But Jack doesn't use his eyes. He uses his aura to freeze things around him. In other words…if she looks at me and I get any closer…I can't touch her or beat her!" Jerome said to himself.

"Time to finish you off!" She yelled.

"Royal ice move: shattering star!"

Jerome looked up and could see what looked to be stars falling slowly from the roof.

"Those are-" a loud explosion went off. Jerome jumped back and started running in the building. Eventually hiding among the mirrors.

"Come out, come out, Jerome! I'm not done playing with you. I know your still in here." Winter said in a cunning voice.

Jerome watched as she froze a mirror thinking it was him.

"How annoying." She said.

"What's annoying is this fight."

"Excuse me!?"

"You heard me. Your brother, Frost could definitely kick your ass!" Jerome yelled out.

Winter began to laugh with delight. "I'll kill him myself!" She screamed.

Jerome's heart dropped when seeing Winter teleport in front of his actual body. She was starting to open her eyes wide. She was about to freeze him.

But then a familiar voice was heard outside the building.

"Expansion: tree of the Leo!" Aliyah yelled.

Before Winter could do anything else, I giant tree branch wrapped around her and sent her through the roof of the building.

A giant tree formed high in the sky with Winter hanging from it knocked out.

"The plane worked. We didn't have to use your expansion after all!" Aliyah said to Trover.

"That's…good." He said in a struggle.

"Come on. The tree will heal you for the time being and keep you alive!" She said.

Aliyah grabbed Trover and jumped high in the air to land on the tree. She places him down and watched as his body started to glow with light.

"It's working. But for you…"

She walked over to Winter and placed her hand on her head. Aliyah's hand started to freeze. She quickly pulled away.

"The tree takes the life force of bad people. You'll be dead within five minutes…which is exactly the time you have left anyways before his reapers ability runs out. You have any last words, Winter"

"So this tree will kill me because I'm a bad person?" Winter asked.

"That's correct."

"A tree can't decide if I'm a bad person or not! That's not possible!" Winter argued.

Aliyah sat down in front of Winter.

"Then we'll just wait these five minutes out and see what happens next!"
