Fight for survival

Crystal, Amethyst, Aubrie, and Colt all walked in the dark forest. Colt tapped Aubrie on shoulder and said something as fast as the blink of an eye.

"We'll make a run for it in a hundred seconds". He whispered. Aubrie kept her eyes forward and held her breath.

"Is Obsidian close? Or do we have to keep walking?" Amethyst asked.

"Keep walking. We're almost there". Crystal reassured.

Aubrie stopped walking as Colt passed her. Crystal turned her head and stopped in her tracks. "Did I tell you to stop? Walk or die!" Crystal threatened.

Aubrie what are you doing? I told you to wait a hundred seconds! Colt thought as he could feel his heart beating at a rapid pace.

"You think we're going to let you kidnap us?"

"Aubrie…I won't ask you again. Walk. Towards. Me. Now."

Aubrie took a few steps back and put both her hands behind her back. "You don't have weapons. Stop playing around and-"

"I have aura though". Aubrie laughed as pink aura surrounded her body. Crystal stared at Aubrie and flashed her beautiful blue aura in response.

"Sorry Colt, but I can't wait that long! We need to fight and I mean right now!" Aubrie yelled as she ran in the opposite direction.

"I'll head after her…you keep an eye on-"

Amethyst spun her head and noticed Colt also gone.

"I'll get him". Amethyst said with confidence in her tone.

Crystal pushed Amethyst to the side. "You can't fight when your pregnant. I'll catch them on my own, you just sit here and wait". Crystal ordered.

Amethyst rolled her eyes and quickly ran after Colt. "She never listens". Crystal scuffed as she ran after Aubrie.

It took no time for Amethyst to catch Colt as he tried to hide in a tree. "Come down. We aren't going to kill you just yet…Colt". She said in a calm voice.

"I have good hearing and I heard that you're caring a child. So…I'm sorry about this". Colt said as he jumped from the tree and flipped in the air. "Crumble!" Colt yelled. The ground where Amethyst stood started breaking apart at a fast rate. Amethyst quickly jumped on a tree. She noticed Colt using the trees to swing himself around fast enough to escape.

"No you don't". She laughed.

Amethyst held her hand out and focused all of her purple aura in her hand. "Stop or I'll have no choice but to do it!"

Colt did not listen. He kept on jumping tree to tree. "Decay". Amethyst whispered. Colt felt pain spread throughout the lower part of his body.

His skin started peeling as a burning sensation went wild. Colt fell to the ground, but before he could react, Amethyst put her foot on top of Colt's head.

"Don't move. Just wait here". Amethyst said as she sat on Colt. Colt tried his best to move the woman but he couldn't.

I'm so…weak! Colt thought as tears fell from his eyes.

Aubrie ran and ran trying to find a way out of wherever they where. Aubrie stopped when seeing a flash of light pass her. A huge cut appeared across her face.

"So fast". Aubrie whispered.

"Turn around girl!" Crystal ordered.

Aubrie slowly turned her head, traveling huge blood thirsty eyes that even made Crystal uneasy. "I'm leaving! Even if I have to kill you!" Aubrie warmed.

"Kill me? Do you now realize that Colt's been captured? I know you won't leave him."

Aubrie took a deep breath and pulled out a pink sword that blended well with her aura. "You'll fight? You know you can't-"

"It's not about winning! It's about survival! Right now I feel like a cornered prey who needs to fight! But your very cocky in your abilities…so…allow me to show you mine". Aubrie said as she took a step forward and disappeared from Crystal's view.

"She's fast!?" Crystal whispered to herself as she dropped to all fours and jumped on a tree. Crystal turned around and dodged Aubries attempt to attack.

Crystal fell to the ground and quickly popes back up. "I can't track her. She's even faster than her brother, Jerome".

"You might actually be fun!" Crystal laughed as she punched the ground, making it break apart and destroy most of the forest. "This thing is insane!" Aubrie said while dodging the flying objects.

Aubrie landed swiftly on the ground and looked around. "Where did-"

Claws dug deep into Aubries back as Crystal managed to claw her. Aubrie forced her aura in the sword and ran at Crystal.

Aubrie sent a barrage of attacks, while Crystal stayed in place and blocked the attacks. "You should really consider my options, Aubrie! What I'm doing is saving you two from your little island!" Crystal yelled while blocking the barrage of attacks.

"Saving us!? We're happy with things! You don't know-"

"A war is coming child! A war that you don't have the power to stop! Just sacrifice your weak self for the king!" Crystal laughed as Aubrie kicked her in the gut and sent her flying deeper into the forest.

Aubrie stood and waited for the dust to clear. She could see blue glowing eyes approaching. "The thing you call "Earth" is nothing but a giant island in a lake! Your not ready for what I'm about to bring in! Just give you life". Crystal said with a twisted smile.

"Your crazy. Even if Adisa really was alive…why kill him? Because he's a threat to your king!? Screw your king! You seek domination! Not Justice!" Aubrie argued.

"Believe me, Aubrie. You have no idea what's coming!"

Crystals aura surrounded the area and made the forest look as if it where in the sea. "Enough talk. I'll kill you and use the boy instead". Crystal said as she ran towards Aubrie.

"Aura slash!"

"Counter!"

Aubrie was shocked to see her arm completely cut off. "What-?"

Crystal side kicked Aubrie in the head and watched as she went flying into trees. "I haven't even tried! Your species really has gotten weaker!" Crystal laughed.

Aubrie tried to push off of the ground with one arm but couldn't. "Let's make a deal". A deep voice whispered in her head.

"Who was that!?" Aubrie yelled out.

"Is she going crazy? Is the thought of death making her go crazy? Fine…I'll kill you quickly". Crystal whispered to herself as she slowly walked towards Aubrie.

"Listen girl, you have nothing but two options here! Either you die or you make a deal! Which one is it!?"

"I don't even know who the hell you are".

In that moment…Aubrie floated in a unknown space. A giant being stood above all and Aubrie looked up at the giant creature. "What are you?"

"What am I? Isn't it clear? It doesn't matter! Your about to die and your low on aura! You need me! The only requirement is…part of your soul!" The creature laughed.

"You must be my reaper. I thought you'd be bigger". Aubrie scuffed. "And I didn't think I'd be paired with a child!"

"Yeah, whatever! Listen…I wouldn't mind making a deal but…I also don't want to give you part of my soul so…"

"How about this then….you help me with my plan and I'll grant you my abilities combined with yours!"

"What plan?"

"Don't worry…it has nothing to do with you mortals. So…do we have a deal?"

"How much power am I getting from you?"

"Fifteen percent".

"Make it twenty".

"Seventeen!"

"Nineteen!"

"Eighteen!"

"Half of eighteen!" Aubrie yelled.

"….very well. But I can't promise you'll be victorious in this battle…good luck, little girl". The reaper laughed as Aubrie snapped out of the trans and opened her eyes.

"This feels…amazing!" She laughed. "This power…brother didn't want me having any of this!? Hahaha!"

Crystal froze and noticed the huge smile on Aubries face. "What's going on? Her mood changed!"

Aubrie floated to her feet and stared at Crystal with a crazy look. "The real fight…starts right now, Crystal!" Aubrie yelled as her aura covered the whole area. "What is this? Her aura is more fierce and powerful than it was before!" Crystal said while trying not to get blown away.

"Come out…REAPER!" Aubries aura formed into a giant reaper that surrounded her body and took full form.

"Amazing! You really do get it don't you, Aubrie!? Your truly amazing! What beautiful power! It's stronger than your brother's almost!" Crystal laughed with joy.

Aubrie threw her sword to the ground and took a battle stance with her hands out. "Expansion: Reapers calling…supreme ruler!" Aubries aura covered the sky. Not showing anything but her own colors. Her aura oozed from the sky as other giant reapers formed a circle around her and Crystal.

Aubrie raised her hand to the sky and watched as the sky opened up and summoned a pink Scythe with pink electricity surrounding it. The scythe had a black handle with a pink blade.

The scythe landed in Aubries hands and her aura went wild, creating giant shockwaves of energy. "You ready?" Aubrie asked.

"Her arm completely healed? Oh…I get it now. Right now there are ten reapers…each reaper has a ability that can help her in battle! I'm pretty sure she can use them in battle to. So…it's eleven vs one! How fun!" Crystal whispered to herself.

She had no fear. I'm still….no match for this woman. But…right now in this moment…I feel like I can conquer the whole world!" Aubrie laughed as she charged.

Crystal took a step back. The wind behind her wasn't steady, so she spun around and noticed one of the giants swinging their scythes directly at her.

He leaned backwards and dodged the first attack. Crystal jumped on top of the scythe, as the creature held her high in the sky.

"Fly!" Aubrie yelled as the nine reapers flew towards Crystal. Aubrie swing her scythe and so did her reaper, to clear the clouds and reveal Crystals position.

two reapers lined up evenly and swung their scythes. Crystal jumped and made both of the weapons lock together. She landed on the giant scythes and started running towards the reaper on all fours.

Aubrie jumped up and landed on the two scythes. It was like a giant sky bridge! "Incredible Aubrie". Crystal laughed while sitting on all fours like a cat.

Aubrie ignored her and charged at her. Crystal surrounded her hands with aura and ran at Aubrie. Aubrie swing the scythe while Crystal blocked her attacks at a fast pace. Aubrie landed a dangerous blow to Crystals rib area and made her fall off of the giant scythes. "Keep going!" Crystal laughed as she used her claws to grip on to a reaper.

She used her claws to push her way towards the top of the reaper as others closed in and began attacking.

She jumped reaper to reaper, dodging and reflecting all of the attacks coming at her. "She still isn't even touched! And every time I land a hit…she always lands one! Does that…have something. To do with her ability? That one. Thing she said…"counter" it sent my attack right back at me! I couldn't even dodge! So…what's going on here?" Aubrie snapped out of thought and prepared herself as Crystal jumped on top of a reaper. Crystals body grew in size as she leaped high in the sky.

Aubrie looked around and saw nothing but clouds. "Where are you!?" Aubrie yelled out. "Reaper Slash!" The attack cleared the skies. Aubrie quickly noticed Crystal floating in a meditating pose.

"Advance!" Aubrie ordered the other reapers. "I'll show you one of my techniques….Aubrie." Crystal said as her aura collided with Aubries. "Expansion: Murderous Garden!"

Aubrie looked in disbelief…it was helpless. At that moment….Aubrie knew she had been outmatched from the beginning. "The reaper has decent defense! So…the damage I'm about to receive should be halved!"

"Limitless Slashing."

In the blink of an eye….Aubries reapers were completely destroyed and cut to pieces. The whole forest was destroyed and Aubries body was completely ripped apart and covered in cuts as she plummeted to the ground.

Aubries impact created a giant explosion and made everything shake. Crystal floated down and searched the area.

"Damn." Crystal said as she stood over Aubries body. "It's a good thing you survived! Imagine you as an adult! You'd be scary! But….you'll make a good sacrifice whenever Obsidian-"

"I'm already here". A man whispered in Crystals ear.

Dust cleared as Udo used his body to protect the people in the clan from the impact. "Is…everyone okay?"

Jerome, Jericho, and Aliyah looked around for Gem. The dust finally cleared and everyone noticed Gem kneeling to the higher-ups.

"Don't tell me…." Udo grabbed both of his swords and pointed them at the higher-ups. Crystals body disintegrated. "What the hell is going on here!? You guys are-"

"We are what?" Joseph asked.

"Your not one of us. Just come out and say it!" Udo yelled. Silence fell over everything and everyone. "The time has come….the king's servants will come tougher to birth the king". Gem whispered.

"What did he say!?" Jerome yelled over.

Udo turned his head. "Jerome, get everyone out of here! Jericho and Aliyah stay here! Hurry up!" Udo ordered.

"Fine. You want the truth…Udo?" Xenon asked.

"YES! Why aren't you giving me an answer!? This isn't a joke!"

"Right now…you about to see the perfect being!" Xenon laughed.

"Not if I kill one of you!" Udo threatened.

A man with green glowing eyes watched in the distance. "Perfect". He said.
