The Early Bird

Quintessa, Gem, and the egg where teleported underneath the destroyed mountain. "He…really is the chosen frost user." Quintessa sighed.

Frost was able to freeze everyone's entire bodies. The only person who wasn't frozen was Xavier. He managed to stay in the air with Night-wing.

"Damn it." Xavier said.

"I thought…she killed you." Frost said as he pointed at Xavier. "Freeze."

Xavier's left arm was covered in ice. "Compact."

The ice was getting tighter around his arm. " I cannot hesitate! I have to act now!" Xavier said as he used his blade and quickly sliced off his arm.

"You crazy bastard!" Frost laughed.

Xavier jumped off of Night-wing and shot a arrow right at Frost. Frost stopped, caught the arrow and quickly noticed Xavier's aura. The arrow exploded and Frost jumped back.

"Where are you-"

Xavier appeared behind Frost and swung his sword. Xavier managed to cut Frost on the left side of his face. Frost's blood poured out as he started to run away with Xavier right behind him.

"He actually tried to kill me?" Frost asked as he stopped and slammed his foot on the ground to create a giant wall-like barrier.

"Use your full power! I wanna see the Frost that killed his own father!" Xavier taunted.

"I can't…the whole universe will be destroyed, Xavier." Frost explained as his scar started to heal.

"Come out and face me! You can't hide in here forever!" Xavier yelled. "You think I'm hiding? I haven't even casted a real spell yet. You all are nothing more than play-things." Frost said as he scuffed his hands against the ice.

"I'll show you something…since you asked. Triple headed god ice dragon!" The ice barker was turned into a giant dragon that stood over Frost. Frost pointed at the crowd of frozen people. "Kill." Frost ordered.

The dragon quickly flew past Xavier. It was headed towards Jade and everyone else. "What will you do, Xavier? I casted a spell." Frost laughed.

"I love it." Xavier said in a low voice.

"What!?"

Xavier lifted his head to reveal a crazy look in his eyes. "People who are troops…we all do this for a reason! When danger knocks…I'll try to be the first one there!" Xavier laughed as he dashed towards the dragon.

"Something's wrong…why is he so excited all a sudden?" Frost said as he ran around. "I'll go to the mountain and protect-"

The dragon was tossed towards Frost. "The hell!?"

Frost quickly jumped out of the way. Frost noticed purple electricity-like aura flowing around Xavier.

"This claw…is giving me too much strength." Xavier said as Frost quickly noticed the change in Xavier's body. Xavier was covered in burns, but you could see that his body was thicker and more muscular than before.

"What…is that?" Frost asked.

"You can see me with that blind fold? I'm impressed!" Xavier said as he stopped and raised the claw.

"You betrayed us, Frost."

Xavier…really is a problem. Frost thought as a ice sword and armor surrounded Frost's body.

"I've never seen aura like that before." Frost said.

Xavier ignored Frost and shot a beam of powerful flames over the ice, unfreezing everyone.

"I forgot about that cape!" Frost said as everyone quickly rushed him. "Kill him!" Joster yelled as all of the soldiers jabbed their weapons deep in Frost's body.

"We…we did it!" They cheered.

Xavier quickly ran over. "Get away from him!" He yelled.

Frost lifted his head and snapped his fingers. "Can't feel a damn thing…you mortals are something else." Frost laughed.

The entire area was getting colder than usual. "Ice world: God's Temple."

The entire area was turned into a kingdom of ice. "Shit!" Joster yelled as Frost pointed to the sky. "I'm better than all of you! Who else…can do what I do!?" Frost laughed. "Rain…Ice sickles!" Millions of ice sickles formed in the sky. Everyone looked up and ran for cover.

"I don't have enough flames! I need my arrow and bow!" Xavier grabbed Jade, who was passed out, and ran towards a building.

"You guys think I'm just gonna let you hide!?" Frost asked as the building started to melt away.

The ice sickles where getting closer and closer. Suddenly, the barrier broke and the ice sickles disappeared.

"I forgot about you…Silva!" Frost said as he turned around to face the woman. "Now, Jerome!"

Jerome emerged from the ground and was directly behind Frost. "I told you I'd kill you one day!" Jerome said as he swung his sword.

Gem could see the small being moving around in the egg. "Beautiful." He cried.

"It…something it's not right. He's too early! He shouldn't be coming out-"

"We didn't tell you the kings power…did we?"

******

Jerome's attack stopped as everything in the area lit up with incredible amounts of aura.
