The Deal

"The king has been talking with…that human for the longest!" Stone shouted as she scrapped her claws on the stone wall.

"Tell me about it." Opal replied.

Wonder sat u in front of the frightened girl. She trimbled in fear. Wonder tilted his head to the side and give her a confused look.

"Do…you still not understand, man?" The girl asked with deep breaths.

"No. I've felt fear once so far. Just like you, I am a child. I'm only buy a few hours old." Wonder purred.

"I will not harm you, Girl. There's no need to fear. You must've been accidentally sucked up in the portal." Wonder explained to her.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"I don't know." The child said.

"What?! How do you not know your name?" Wonder asked. The girl hesitated for a moment, her sweat dripping on the floor.

"I…don't remember much of my parents. I was raised by my grandmother, who hated me. She always called me "girl", so…I guess my name is girl."

"Your own blood hated you? Interesting. I shall find a name that fits you, girl. In the meantime, I would like you to tell me about life. You're a human, I can tell. Tell me, what is it like?"

The girl curled up and pushed her body against the wall. "It all depends, I guess. On the island…it was a place where Akies were placed. Then, bad people were forced onto the island. Over the years, people have always been dropped off. Now, you'll have people like me who did nothing wrong, but were born on the island. Life…is so bad. On the island, you have people…bad and good. Aliens, wars, robbery, and more. However, if you're born outside…your life is easier. Pretty much, if you're a low-class…you're screwed." The girl said.

Wonder fell into silence. "I see. Forgive me, for I believe the reason of your grandmother's death was because of my soldiers- my family."

"It's okay, really. I…didn't like her too much."

Wonder stood up and looked off into the distance. "Soon, I shall change your world. You'll be free from your slavery, girl. In the meantime, do give me a history lesson of humanity and the world?"

"Of course."

The remaining Akies all stayed at the Star clan. There were now 5,000 of them left. In the middle of the Star clan, Jade sat with her feet dangling from the cave entrance.

Memories of Xavier dying in her arms clouded her mind like a thick mist. She pulled the arrow out of her hair and looked down at it.

"You have me this…as a symbol of love, babe. Now…I feel empty without you." Jade whispered to herself. "If…only I were stronger." Jade said as tears of frustration fell from her eyes.

Jade removed the robe that Laity gave her. "This is symbolizes people's pain around the world. Every living thing goes through things in their life. I also share this pain." Jade looked up to see Colt treating a wound on a woman.

Jade folded the robe. (This belongs to you, Colt.)

"You doing okay?" A man asked. Jade turned her head to see Flow standing over her with a smile. Jade wiped her eyes. "Do I know you?"

Flow smirked and sat next to her. "No ma'am. I do…believe I know you. You're the daughter of-"

"I could care less about that man. What do you want?"

"No need to get aggressive. U can't tell you're upset about someone. Perhaps you lost your lover?"

Jade ignored Flow and continued to look at the ground. "You'll feel alone and dead on the inside. However, you aren't truly alone. If you take a look around you, you'll see our people in pain and sadness. You're not the only one who's lost someone. Remember something, Jade…continue living for the ones who loved you." Flow whispered.

Jade turned around to see nothing. Flow had disappeared. Jade turned back around and looked up to see Splinter sitting against the wall of a cave with a dead expression on his face.

"May I sit next to you?" Jade asked.

Without answering, Splinter gave her a slight nod. Jade sat next to him and took a deep breath.

"Where's Xavier?" He asked. Splinter sounded like he needed a drink of water. His voice was dry and cranky. Jade looked him in the eyes with a worried look. "My world is gone, Splinter."

Splinter looked off to the side and avoided eye-contact with her. "Where…is your brother and everyone else?"

"They being worked on. I believe Kenan…is-"

"You don't have to say it. I'm sorry, Splinter."

Splinter had a little frown on his face. "Yeah, me too."

Jade stood up and pulled out her sword. "We…don't have time to mourn." Splinter gave Jade a confused look. "You're crazy if you think I'm gonna-"

Splinter was cut on the left side of his face. Blood leaked out and dropped to the ground.

"You don't wanna train after failing your comrades in battle?! You don't want to get stronger!?Want revenge!? What the hell?!" Jade yelled as she showed off her powerful aura.

"Stand up. We're gonna get stronger, Splinter!" Jade ordered. Splinter smacked his lips and wiped the blood from his face. "I will not. My spirit and pride are broken, Jade. Leave me alone."

Jade tried to smack Splinter. He caught her and held her by the wrist. "I said…to leave me alone." Splinters voice was more assertive than before.

"Fight back!" Jade said as she landed a punch. Splinter was flown away and out of the clan. Everyone looked up to see him feet in the air. Jade crouched down and jumped up and hit him back to the ground and outside of the burnt gates.

People looked. "You guys knock it off!" A woman yelled. It was Elizabeth, she was unharmed from the event. Elizabeth locked eyes with Splinter and froze from fear itself. "SILENCE!!" Jade yelled. Jade slammed her sword into the ground and walked around it. She pointed at the crowd of Akies. "Akies…we are all…Akies. Do you not know what runs through your veins?! You all sit here…not even a single fire within you wants to fight back?! To grow stronger?! We are a smart, resilient, powerful, and ruling race! I understand the circumstances, I do. Those…things were human made! We must ensure that can never happen again! We must grow stronger to protect our future! The beast want us and so do the humans! But I won't sit around for a second feeling defeated over a battle that has not yet been lost! Not while the humans plan to possibly attack and not while the mythical beast possibly plan to attack! Don't you all get it?! This…is more than a war. This is our extinction! I do not want our race to perish to these things!" Jade picked up her sword and raised it into the air. "So, if you want to prepare and fight," Jade slammed her sword back into the ground. This time, powerful aura was put into it, "step forward and come!"

There was a silence among the crowd. Splinter stared at Jade in amazement. (After all this…you still have faith that-)

"I will fight and train with you, Jade Blind." A tall male Akie said from the crowd. "Yeah, me too!"

A few people had agreed to fight and train. "If you are scared, I understand. Just please…think about all you have lost." Jade said with tears in her eyes. "Don't let this be the end of our story."

A female akie agreed to fight. Another person raised their hand. W few quickly turned into hundreds. "I will!" "ME" "yes!!"

The Akies all began cheering and roaring, shaking the ground itself beneath Jade's feet.

Splinter kept on looking at everyone. (Captain told us a year ago about our people. How they fear him…how they could never come together. He was wrong about one of those things.) Splinter smirked and thought about his brother. Splinter's eyes grew open from determination on his mind. "Kenan, I will fight for your death! I will take Preta!"

Splinter stood up. Jade turned her head to see Splinter standing tall and with his sword in his hand. "Let's get busy!" He said with a smirk.

Rue sat on the edge of the ship, smiling at the work of the nukes. "The supe soldiers really did well to block the shock waves. How's the United States holding up?" Rue asked.

"Not bad. Lots of casualties. The elites are safe, of course. We are currently in underground bunkers. Citizen deaths are easily in the hundreds of millions across the globe. We didn't expect the blast to reach all the way here and surrounding countries. Y'all are in the Atlantic Ocean. Our world is far bigger than what we like to tell the world. That island is three Russias. So, imagine our countries compared to the small island. Let that sink in. Anyway, I have to go. Lots of information to spread to the world."

Rue held the phone down and smacked his lips. "What are you gonna tell the world?"

"We have devised a plan to have them as the enemies. "The Akies attacked us, prepare for war!," that will be what gives them that final push."

"Hmph. Well, good luck." Rue chuckled while hanging up the phone. Rue looked out in the distance. A person was walking on the water and through his thick mist.

"Stop the ship!" Rue ordered the captain of the ship. The ship halted. "Just when we were about to invade." He whispered.

A very tall man with light blue hair down to his shoulders , a black outfit, a black blindfold, black shoes, and part of a tatoo going down the back of his neck.

"Who is that?" Rue asked himself. Rue stood up and snapped his fingers, causing the mist that surrounded the hundreds of ships to vanish and go into his hand. "Good thing these people are under my spell. It would be a pain to have to kill them because of my past." Rue whispered to himself.

"You can stop right there, Akie." Rue said as he could see the man walking on ice towards the ship. Frost held his hands up as Rue had everyone's attention. "Don't do anything to him. That's an order." Rue told the men. Rue held his hands up. "Are you lost? Or do you just want your death handed to you now?" Rue asked with a smirk.

"Neither. I want to talk to your superiors." Frost said in a calm voice. Rue turned his head towards the hundreds of soldiers aiming their guns. "Well, I'm the best you've got right now. What do you want, Akie?"

Frost slowly lowered his hands. In the blink of an eye, Frost was standing in front of Rue. The humans all jumped from surprise. Multiple drones flew over the ship. Rue looked up to wave the drones off. "Well, it's been some time, Frost."

Frost chuckled. "Indeed it has, Rue. Let's talk about phase two." Frost said as the two men shaked each other's hand.
