"Well that was quite something," Yugi Moto chuckled lightly as the pair of students were announced the winners, he turned his head to look at the tall brown haired man opposite him, "Are you proud? A pair of your students just defeated a pair of pros, it will do wonders for the image of your school."

Seto Kaiba scoffed, "If they couldn't do this much, then clearly they weren't worth anything in the first place."

Yugi shook his head in amusement, even as he swivelled slightly in his seat to stare out of the window, his eyes looking into the deep expanse of space around them, "I was surprised, I'll admit," the King of Games mused, "I was not expecting for Dark Magician Girl to choose a new duellist, and especially not one quite so..."

"Quite so what?" Kaiba rolled his eyes.

"Like you," Yugi shot him a smirk, "He reminded me of you actually. Especially with how angry he got over his dragon being insulted. Perhaps a fan of yours?"

"Then he'd have actual good taste, unlike all the sycophants trying to hump your leg," Kaiba shot back with a smirk, "But so what? He has your old teenage masturbation aid and has the good sense to be a fan of dragons, nothing that makes him a competitor for me to take interest in was apparent."

"Can you not call her that?" Yugi's face flushed before he shook his head, "And yes, he may not be quite on the level needed to take you or I on right now, but there is potential there. As there is for the girl. I have no doubt Sheppard will choose the pair of them as part of the key keeper group."

Kaiba grimaced, "Ah yeah, those stupid god card wannabes," he huffed, "Stupid disobedient things. Let's hope they learned their lesson after getting locked up."

"Stranger things have happened," Yugi chuckled lightly, "At the very least, they don't outright attack anyone attempting to wield them besides a specific few like the god cards did."

"I don't care, the mere fact that they refused to obey me was enough for me to toss them aside like the trash they are," Kaiba rolled his eyes again, before shrugging, "Well, I wouldn't mind if one of the brats at that school manage to tame them. I could use a decent challenge. The last good duel I had was against that fool Wheeler of all people. What has the world come to that my only good source of a duel is Wheeler, or you? Do I really need to hack into the afterlife again just to shake things up a bit?"

'A world of your creation.' Yugi kept his thoughts private on the matter. The fact he could so casually talk about jumping to the afterlife just for a duel showed how much of an absurd breach of common sense Seto Kaiba really was.

Yugi's thoughts drifted to the boy of the pair that duelled the Paradox Brothers. He would be getting a lot of publicity now. The way he duelled and his attitude would no doubt attract fans. As much as Yugi didn't understand it, the public seemed to love a bad boy rebel and Yarden Odhar fit that to a T.

But, his thoughts weren't really on that. Rather, his thoughts were on his monsters. Dark Magician Girl was not the only duel spirit he'd seen in the boys possession. Serpent Night Dragon, the monster he got so angry over was a spirit as well, he could tell. And the way the boy managed to draw three Pot of Greed back to back. He must love his deck very much for that kind of loyalty to show through the Heart Of The Cards.

Yes, Yarden Odhar was definitely someone he would have to keep his eye out for. Just like Jaden Yuki, the boy who travelled through time on two separate occasions to meet Yugi. Once to help him defeat Paradox alongside Yusei Fudo, and another, second time to duel him.

A duel in which Yugi, even with Atem and the gods cards by his side, lost.

This new generation of duellist youths sure were something.
