Merry morning

During the sunrise, the sky was clouded, which made it darker than most mornings. Vincent's carriage stopped close to the manor gates. Now that the adrenaline had calmed down, his body was facing the consequences of the little fight he had in the forest. When he got up, the backrest of the seat was stained with thick blood.

"If you weren't fine, you should have told me!" Drakos practically shouted at Vincent, "this careless behaviour of yours is what makes me work more."

Vincent rolled his eyes like he was used to hearing this a lot. He barely paid any heed to the nagging. Vincent got down from the carriage and walked inside the manor swiftly. Drakos was looking forward to giving Vincent more piece of his mind, but that man was more concerned about the one who was left alone in the castle. Vincent discarded his coat at the entrance, which would be picked up by Bertha later, before he walked up to Prudence's room.
