First day in office

The morning I woke and saw Sofia was already in the kitchen, I rushed towards the kitchen to help her. Sofia wished 'Good Morning, hope you slept well' I replied ' Good Morning, oh actually I overslept today, I have never slept so peacefully, let me help you '. We had our breakfast and by 9 am I was ready. When I went out of my room Sofia was still in her room. I sat on the couch and waited for Sofia. Sofia entered ' You are ready so let's go, I will drop you at your office and evening I will pick you up ''. I nodded and walked towards her car. We were on the way and I was too busy thinking about my new job. Sofia dropped me at my new office. I was a little nervous, walked slowly into the office. it was an elegant office, with modern furniture, in reception a young girl was sitting behind the desk. She looked at me ' Could I help you ' I replied ' I am here to join as a secretary of Mr Richard. The girl smiled widened ' Oh so you are Ms Ria right I am Julie Bright and you can call me Julie, Mr Richard will be here any time you can please have a seat till he arrived. We shook hands.' After ten minutes I saw a tall man enter the office, he looked elder than Mr Daniel. He saw me and walked towards me smiling he forwarded his hand for a handshake ' You are Ria I hope I can call you Ria, How was your trip?. ' I smiled and replied ' Yes I am Ria and the trip was good. ' Me Richard ' Ok dear come to my cabin I will you your seat' And I walked behind him. His cabin was very large and there was a desk on the corner. He showed me the desk ' This is your seat and I will ask Julie to introduce to other staffs too before you start your job' I nodded, He called Julie through the intercom. Julie arrived and as per Mr Richards instruction she took me out and I saw there was a door and Julie opened it and went inside. I saw more than ten different desks and people sitting behind them. Julie introduced me to everyone. They all just smiled as they spoke French more than English. I returned to my desk. Me Richard was busy speaking to someone on the phone. I sat behind my desk and waited for him to give me my work. Later after he kept the phone he gave a letter to draft. I didn't bring my lunch as I was told that we had a staff canteen so at lunch time Julie cane and took me to the staff canteen, everyone were busy eating we were the last one. We also took our food and took a seat. Julie told me all about the type of work we do. After lunch I went to my desk and started competing the job I had left incomplete before leaving for lunch. Later at 5 : 30 Pm Richard told me to go and Julie cane in at that moment and said ' Ms.Sofia. is here to pick you '. The first day ended and I went with Sofia telling her all about my first day.
