2 The persona

"I feel an entity and he is in this house," Jan said.

"He?" asked Fr. Robert.

"Or she?" interrupted Josh.

"It is not clear, but he is here," Jan declared. "We have to use the ghost catcher once again."

I was listening carefully and was giddy with excitement knowing that they would stay for a few days.

I've been trapped here for maybe a long time because I've seen people come and go in this mansion albeit I'd rather make myself happy than fret every day. I find the Lee's the funniest of all the families that occupied this house.

Dark had set in. The three adventurers put out their ghost catcher and went about mirroring every spot, nook and cranny in the house—they'd bumped with the gap-toothed caretaker and were scared to death—but much to their disappointment that until now I couldn't be found.

I was left alone to fend for myself during the war to a point selling my soul until my body parts were painful, so I turned to opium for relief. It was good. I had a good sleep whenever I'm on poppy. Then, every time I had a customer, I would turn to the drug to relieve myself of pain and fear until one day, I remember feeling nauseous--my world, turning around. I fell down on the floor and when I woke up, I was in limbo. I walked and walked, wondered why people could not see me; they could not talk to me and me to them. They could not touch me and I could not touch them. I walked and walked until I reached this house. This is a safe haven. I decided to stay. Days counting… years… I was stuck. I had no one. I had nobody.

I learned from listening to their conversation that one of them was a priest. I am hopeful that one day I'd be found— and taken out of this place although this place had given me the joy of watching people walked in and out of the mansion—and taken to where I truly belong.
