Interlude - Villains and the sports festival.

"Master, he's the one who foiled our plans!" Shigaraki whined, scratching his face, "If only he wasn't there...."

"That is understandable. His quirk is a very strong. Try to bring him to me. We could use a quirk like his." All for One said.

"Bring him into the fold or .." Kurogiri asked.

"Either way, we'll get his quirk. Tomura will destroy All Might and his hero society. And given his views, this boy, Haru, just might come to help us, willingly or otherwise." He replied.

In the apartment above, Himiko and Haruto sat watching the sports festival broadcast.

"Isn't Papa cool?" Himiko said.

"Umu! Papa is soo cool! And when he punch the ice, it goes boom!" Haruto replied making sound effects with his mouth, copying his Papa's actions from the tv.

However, as the fight went on, he noticed his Mama start to shake, her face growing redder, her breaths ragged.

"Mama? Mama! Are you okay?" He asked, looking at Himiko.

"Yes, baby." She kissed his forehead, standing up gently, letting him roll off of her lap.

"Listen, Haruto. Mama has something important to do. Be a good boy and stay here till Mama gets back okay?"

"Okay Mama!" Haruto answered innocently, as his Mama ran out of the house.

In a warehouse on the edge of Naruhata, a man in bandages sat by a tv, watching the UA sports festival, his face bearing a maniacal smile.

"Good! Good! Finally someone else that understands! Heroes need to become more heroic or die!" He said, an almost too wide grin straining his noseless face.

He had wanted to go after a local pro hero today, one Ingenium.

But with this student, Haru Shikimori, being such an interesting persona he remained glued to the tv, missing his deadly appointment with his target.

In a spa and hair salon two cities over, a man with burn scars sat watching the television as the hairdresser gave him a makeover.

"Hhahahahahaha!" He burst out laughing.

"Right on Haru! That flaming bastard doesn't deserve to be called a hero! He and his kind should just die!"

"Sir, please don't move. I might accidentally cut open your scars." A disgruntled spa employee requested.

"Oh, sorry. It's just I'm so excited! It's been years since I've felt this way! To see someone stand up to him and say that to his face!" The man replied.

In a rundown theater, a man in a trenchcoat watched the broadcast on his phone and smiled.

"He sure has a good sense of showmanship!" The man muttered, twirling his cane in his off hand.

In a subsidized housing development in Setagaya, Tokyo, a man with reptilian features sharpened his knives, watching the festival intently, nodding occasionally with praises and agreements.

Truly, if this was the sort of cadre the heroes had coming, then society wouldn't be lacking in good heroics.

A better world was sure to come. Maybe it was time, he did his part in making that dream come true!
