Childhood Abduction

In Aawoot's past life as Zoner, his spirit left his body quite often into another world where he had many other kinds of adventures.

Zoner's venture into another world through an "out of body" experience (through a novageist) happened at a point of depression during Zoner's Primary 4 (fourth year in elementary school, which was a streaming year for all students Singapore that mainly determined the child's future education route depending on his exam performance, sealing his fate) when trying to cope with the stress of studying. That was when he had his first "Twins Effect". It happened when he cried himself to sleep, and when he woke up, he was in another world, and had lost his memories on Earth.

When he came to, he could not remember a thing about his past. His name, where he came from, and how he ended up there. A hermit picked him up. Later on, he called the hermit "Master". The "Master" trained him in the art of fighting, and mastering his internal strength. He learned to live by hunting, and use magic to cook. Very soon, his body was as hard as steel, and was impervious to common magic. He became able to do housework by giving verbal commands. For a year, he was a sorcerer's apprentice.

One day, his master told him that he was going to the mountain to meditate for five days, so he was on his own. Well, those five days were going to change his life.

Since his "Master" picked him up from where he found him (he always said it was in the rain where he found him unconscious), he was given a name, which was Don Juan the Knight. His surname was "The Knight" because that was the surname of his master. However, he was given the nickname 'Nut', which meant "dimwit" in the language they spoke there. Don Juan, or "nut", was a dimwit to start with. He messed things up when he first started out. Eventually, he learned to be smarter and more attentive along the way, and he became a fine magician and bare-knuckled fighter.

One day, when venturing downstream to fish and get water, he heard a cry of distress. He went down and found a young boy just like himself attacked by what seemed to be a ferocious three-headed wolf. This boy identified it as the beast that destroyed his village long ago. In the process of fighting this three-headed beast, he realized that this boy was also combat-trained. His name was Case, and he was practicing a martial art that was similar to Nut's. Their fighting styles had a tendency to be named after animals. He practiced two styles which was the hedgehog-style and the lion-style, while Case practiced the fox-style. They tag-teamed and eventually defeated this monster, which reverted back to what seemed to be his former state. To Nut's horror, it was...

…his master.

Nut wept as his "Master" related the whole story to him. His name was Sorcerer Kestrel. He was once an evil sorcerer who went into hiding and turned over a new leaf. However, he could not conquer his beastly nature which needed to kill on a regular basis without his conscious knowledge. He was waiting for someone to kill him, but he could only be killed by his ultimate killer move, the "Piece de Resistance", which involves the user firing a huge blast of energy against his enemy, thus eliminating him. Both Nut and Case used this move to defeat the three-headed beast. He had many other disciples whom he tried to train to kill him, but all of them died. Case's elder brother, who also taught him the Piece de Resistance (Case's elder brother shared with same master as Kestrel), was killed by him. He couldn't die in any other form except his "Cerberus" form, and only the Piece de Resistance could kill him.

Nut bade a tearful farewell towards his "Master". Case cursed Nut's "Master" for killing his brother, and was happy that he finally avenged him. That upset Nut as that was his "Master" he was cursing. They naturally got into a fight, and fought for a long time, until they were eventually exhausted. That fight alone helped them to understand each other and settle their differences. From then on, they travelled as partners in search of stronger fighters to challenge their own limits.

They came to this town in a continent called Moulin where they saw four very beautiful girls performing on stage. They were actually a popular group called Bellequatre. Their names were Naobelle, Fernlynx, Lebell, and Caravynn. Naobelle was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Naomi (whom Nut (as Akira) later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and whom he copulated with after merging with Hideaki). Fernlynx was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Tamiki (whom he later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and whom he copulated with after merging with Rekka). Lebell was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Chiaki (whom he later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and whom he copulated with after merging with Mizuchi). Caravynn was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Chiya (whom he later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and whom he copulated with after merging with Getsuga). The two guys shook hands with girls. The girls blew them a kiss, and they guys were very much in love with them.

However, Nut and Case found out very much later after stalking them that they were actually under the control of a Mafia demon called Magnolia Eyes who made them his mistresses and were making money out of them by also making them sleep with his clients. He was actually a formless demon who possessed a boy who sold his soul to him in exchange for success and women. This ordinary looking boy became handsome overnight after merging with the demon and he seduced many beautiful women and hypnotized them to become his prostitutes. In attempting to rescue them, they fought three powerful male fighters who were under his control. They were Squall, Saturn, and Magus. Squall was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Hayate (whom Nut/Akira later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and merged with him before copulating with Hina). Saturn was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Domon (whom he later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and merged with me before copulating with Kana). Magus was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Saiko (whom he later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and merged with him before copulating with Mika). Squall was a wind user who was the master of the "Kamaitachi (鎌鼬)", which involved cutting the air with his powerful blade to create a vacuum which in turn turned into a blade that flew towards the opponents of the user of the Kamaitachi. Saturn was a tall and muscular beast on two legs that could create earthquakes by stamping his feet, and also making the soil of the earth obey his command. He also created rocks out of nothing and covered his body with an armor made of stone to defend himself. Magus was a master of psychokinesis. He levitated objects to throw them at us, and even tried to levitate and control our movements. It took Cosmic Rain, one of our projectile barrage moves to eventually defeat them and make them snap out of Magnolia Eyes's control.

It turned out that they were actually originally undercover agents of Novamos, a private freedom fighting and crime fighting squadron which was trying to shatter Magnolia Eyes's vice ring.

They told Nut and Case where their base was, and brought them to meet the other five on their team members / colleagues, who were actually five attractive ladies: Layna, the electrifying diva, was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Kazumi (whom Akira/Nut later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and whom he copulated with after merging with Ikazuchi). Alethea, the girl of wind, was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Hina (whom he later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and whom he copulated with after merging with Hayate). Kismet, the girl of the earth, was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Kana (whom he later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and whom he copulated with after merging with Domon). Anastella, the girl of optical illusions, was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Senna (whom he later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and whom he copulated with after merging with Gen). Chantelle, the princess of her mind, was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Mika (whom he later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and whom he copulated with after merging with Saiko).

They joined forces to defeat Magnolia Eyes and free the four angels of Bellequatre. Eventually when they tried to confront Magnolia Eyes, he actually summoned them to fight with Nut and Case and the rest of the Novamos. Boy, they could really fight! Naobelle had the power of the sun, meaning she could create bright flashes of light to blind them, or focus a beam of light onto them to set them on fire. Fernlynx's own power was the creation of fire, and forming the shapes of other weapons or other living creatures using fire. Lebell used the power of water and ice to fight them. She could create puddles on the floor to make them slip and fall, or even freeze them solid. Caravynn's powers was the power of the moon, or rather, the power of the magic of the night, where fairy magic was used to do anything: Speed up or slow down a person, turn tree branches into snakes, give inanimate objects a will of their own, or confuse a person's senses. Such magic also worked in the day, but worked stronger at night.

Eventually they broke Magnolia Eyes' spell over them, and they teamed up to defeat him. He was so powerful that all 14 of them were nearly defeated. After he eventually destroyed the body of Magnolia Eyes with a super amplified "Piece de Resistance", Caravynn fashioned a magic lamp that sealed his spirit away, so that he cannot gain power by possessing another person.

Eventually the Bellequartre girls became part of the Novamos Team. Alethea, the de facto leader of the female Novamos asked us to join them. Case was keen, but Nut was not. Nut simply wanted to challenge fighters who were stronger than him, and nothing else. So Case decided not to either since it would be meaningless when Nut were not around. Case and Nut parted ways with them. Right after that, Case turned back, ran towards Nut and challenged Nut to a fight, saying that he wanted to knock some sense into Nut for wanting to go solo. Nut rebutted and told Case he was being too clingy to him. Eventually Case defeated Nut, saying that deep down Nut himself wanted to join the Novamos Team but was afraid of making a fool of himself in front of them because of his attraction towards the girls. Nut kept telling Case that he wanted hone his skills, and sticking around may make him slack. However, after being defeated by Case, Nut told him that he realized that he still had a lot more to learn and explore, and all the more he should not stick with them. They shook hands and bid each other a tearful farewell. They were more than just friends. They were fighting buddies who shared the same fighting style and they were always trying to beat each other by predicting each other's move and trying to create moves that were better than the other's. Case told Nut to take care, and Nut replied 'same to you'. Nut left, feeling this sharp pain in his heart. He declared that he would isolate himself to become stronger, but deep down he was feeling empty, and feeling lonely. He had a strong urge to connect, but he felt inferior to the skills and abilities of everyone else, including Case. During his fight with Magnolia Eyes, the others were protecting and rescuing him all the time when he got into a fix. It was only at the last moment that Nut's Piece de Resistance defeated him. He had the power, but he didn't have the ability to control it. He didn't want them to dislike him for becoming a liability to them. He had always wanted to show his best, outshine the rest, and let them respect him for it. The reason he remained alive was because his seniors protected him from the three-headed beast, which he didn't know was Master Kestrel at that time. He continued to train in isolation, walking upside down while dragging a heavy rock, and many other training methods he learnt when he was Kestrel's disciple. He challenged other fighters, and eventually learned their skills. After a year plus, he was no longer the same as he once was.

Eventually destiny had it decided that they met again in the upcoming Märchenland tournament which was known as the Fightfest, where martial arts and magic-using combatants pit their talents against each other as a sport in pursuit of an honorary title of "Fightfest Champion". It was held on an island called South Heaven, also known as the "Island of Arrogance".

They fought all the way up, with small fries not lasting more than three minutes. The duration increased as they progressed, until they reached the creme de la creme of the fighters, otherwise known as the Big Four, who were the four prevailing champions in previous tournaments.

The first fighter whom he fought was Asura. He was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Rekka (whom Akira/Nut later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and merged with him before copulating with Tamiki). He was a berserker in the true sense of the word. His fighting style seemed to be a mixture of Muay Thai and Chinese Wing Chun Martial Arts. It was very difficult to break through his barrier formed from endless swift punches and kicks, turning every joint, every bone of his arms and legs into lethal weapons. He was a ferocious beast, either a wolf or a hyena. This stalemate continued for four hours, until Nut eventually picked up his fighting style unconsciously. Somehow Asura started to get restless. That's when he questioned Nut's motive for fighting. All Nut told him was…

"Just for the fun of challenging my limits by fighting someone stronger than me."

Somewhere along the line, he started to wax nostalgic, talking about his past lives, his first past life as the famous Muay Thai hero, Nai Khanomtom (and his two Burmese wives), and his second life as Bruce Lee, a movie star who practiced the Wing Chun martial arts. In this life, he has been fighting to be recognized, and to become a hero. So he couldn't afford to lose. The ferocious fighter got more agitated as he felt cheated, since he already felt that he was going to lose to someone who didn't even have a substantial objective for fighting, apart from wanting to challenge his own limits. He looked down on Nut for having no substantial goal. To lose to someone like this would be a loss of his dignity. A loss of pride.

Defeat for him would have brought him shame worse than death. It was only understandable that he became desperate, and lost.

Asura looked begrudgingly at Nut when he offered the Muay Thai fighter a hand to pull him up. Asura brushed Nut aside and spat. Despite that, Nut said, "I should thank you for fighting me. Watching you fight has taught me a new style of fighting which I can adopt. I look forward to fighting you again." On hearing that, Asura was stunned. He had suddenly lost all reason to hold on to his pride...as if he was...enlightened.

The next match was Case and Poseidon. Poseidon was a one who reeked of royalty, charm, and arrogance in the way he dressed and how he carried himself. To add, he was also a well known womanizer. He was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Mizuchi (whom Akira/Nut later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and merged with him before copulating with Chiaki). The female crowd was roaring with cheers praising his abilities and looks, and declaring their love for him. Poseidon waved back and the cheery roars went crazy. Nut watched disgustedly. The worst was when Poseidon proceeded to be what seemed to be a striptease to the female crowd. He was talking off his clothes. The screaming turned to ear-piercing harpy cries as he stripped down to only his loincloth. Very "small" loincloth. Nut was like, "what the hell", and shrugged his shoulders. "Can't there be a limit to your fan service? You're killing them softly, or rather, "noisily" with your sexuality". The girls from the audience (some of them formed the "Poseidon Fan Club", and a cheer group kicking their legs high to attract his attention, and hopefully make their way into his bed through those high-reaching leg movements) were the ones who were noisy and also attracting a lot of attention.

Poseidon clenched his fists and started screaming at the stop of his voice. "What was he screaming for? Is he mad?" Nut thought. However, Nut felt something else as he screamed. Nut thought that Case felt it too since he had this pensive look when looking at his opponent. His face started to turn red. The sky started to turn dark. Eventually it started to rain. The water level on the fighting arena started to rise rapidly as it flooded. Poseidon extended a hand forward, and all of a sudden, there was a "geyser" eruption below Case, throwing Case high into the air. Nut saw it immediately. Poseidon had actually installed traps onto the arena floor, and detonated them when they were hidden by the water. Poseidon jumped into the air and started punching Case nonstop.

With great difficulty, Case managed to break through Poseidon's barrage of punches and kicked him back to the ground. However, Poseidon managed to maneuver himself just in time to land on the floor safely on his feet with a slight splash. At that moment, multiple blades of ice emerged from the water and flew towards the midair Case. "Case! Watch out!" Nut cried. Case suddenly disappeared into thin air and reappeared right in front of Poseidon and gave him a very hard roundhouse kick.

The female crowd started booing. Nut heard shouts such as "Go and eat shit, Case" and "Stop bullying my poor baby Poseidon". Nut was disgusted. "Oh give me a break! Does he know you? Even if you probably slept in his bed, does he remember you?"

This time, Poseidon struggled to get up. Struggling to form his words, he asked Case.

"Who…taught you…how to fight? Who's…your master?"

"My master?" repeated Case. "He's gone from this world."

"WHO IS HE?" growled Poseidon.

Case replied. "Sorcerer Kestrel".

Cries of shock echoed throughout the crowd. They couldn't believe it. The evil tyrant who once turned Märchenland into a living hell still lives?

Nut spoke up in defense of his master. "He no longer lives! He has regretted the evil he has done and lived a life of seclusion to atone for his sins. He passed to us his skills, powers, and the Piece de Resistance to perform heroic deeds and safeguard the weak. He forced us to kill him with the Piece de Resistance!"

Cries of shock could be heard again. The Piece de Resistance was passed down? If the ultimate Sorcerer Kestrel was defeated by this move, what chance would Poseidon have against Case? The spectators were heavily engaged in discussion regarding this. On hearing the myriads of questions flying around his ears like houseflies, Poseidon collapsed. Case was declared the winner, but also collapsed soon after and had to be taken to the infirmary.

The next challenger was a young handsome man called Thor. He was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Ikazuchi (whom Akira/Nut later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and merged with him before copulating with Kazumi). Nut proceeded to fight him. In terms of gait, he exuded perfect coolness and confidence, and walked like a seasoned break-dancer. He kept firing thunderbolts at Nut causing him to suffer severe shocks and burns. He teleported at the speed of light. In front of Nut one second, gone the next. Nut was beaten and kicked repeatedly without even knowing where he was being kicked from. At long last, like a football to be kicked into the goal net, Nut was kicked into the wall of the ring, face in. Case cried out Nut's name in desperation, but that didn't stop Thor from summoning a pillar of electricity from above to destroy Nut's body altogether.

Case cried out Nut's name in tears…

"Don't worry my friend, I'm not dead yet." Nut's voice boomed with an echo throughout the stadium.

Nut rose from the ashes. A phoenix rose from the ashes where his destroyed body was. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Ashes and dust back to flesh and blood. The phoenix transformed back into me once more.

Everyone's mouths were agape. Even Case's. What happened?

Nut casted a "Phoenix Reborn" spell on himself the moment he entered this tournament. This was a spell only high-level magicians were capable of, and this was taught to him by Sorcerer Kestrel.

Nut's resurrected body became resistant to electricity, and attuned to the speed of Thor's lightning and teleport attacks.

The rest was history. Nut defeated Thor without even using the Piece de Resistance.

The last opponent was this tall man. He was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Gen (whom Akira/Nut later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and merged with him before copulating with Senna). The person whom he was going to fight was a Ninja, a Ninja who was also a master of illusions who did everything he could to make the fight as frustrating as possible. His name was Cloud. Nut charged forward at him to punch him, only to find that he was attempting to punch an illusion of him that was hiding a rock. And what was a rock doing there for no reason? The rock broke to pieces, Nut's knuckles bled, but the pieces of the broken rock suddenly disappeared as if it was not there. Suddenly Nut was kicked in the chest and back by nothing. No, it was something, except that Nut could not see it. Whenever Nut saw Cloud, he tried to hit Cloud, but the object he struck turned out to be not real. It could be either a straw-doll or a piece of wood. The worst part was when sharp shurikens appeared on Nut's body all of a sudden. It took Nut a while to crack his code. Cloud was manipulating the Qi around him, solidifying Qi to form solid objects that looked and felt just like the real thing, for as long as 30 seconds. Nut learnt to read the flow of energy in the air and found that all those objects that he saw were not real. Eventually Nut managed to find the real Cloud who did not even step into the ring. By default, he was disqualified and Nut won the match by default (ring out).

All of a sudden, the sky over the tournament grounds was overcast. Sinister venomous laughter pervaded every corner of the stadium. The chill of fear escaped through the shivering lips of the spectators. The laughter slowly changed to words. "The fight is not over," came the loud whisper. The dark cloud above shat a cluster of dark smoke onto the ground. The cluster of dark smoke solidified to form a man. A very handsome one (think "David Beckham") clothed in black stylish clothing, as if he was some prince of darkness. He was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Getsuga (whom Akira/Nut later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and merged with him before copulating with Chiya). His name turned out to be Alucard.

The emcee got very excited, announcing that this is a rare occurrence that the successor of the Lord of the Dark took an interest in the match and descended from the Dark Highlands, which showed that the performance Nut has shown has exceeded expectations enough for them to descend to the surface world from the Elysian Highlands to challenge the winner, which was indeed a very great honour.

Alucard threw Nut something that looked like a bean. Nut grabbed it with his teeth. Alucard said, "Eat it, it'll restore your energy. I don't want to fight an opponent who's at a disadvantage in terms of fighting strength."

The match began soon after. His moves involved summoning beasts of the dark such as vampire bats, gargoyles, minotaurs, centipedes, werewolves and other monsters by cutting his wrist and letting his blood flow to the floor where the monsters will appear from the blood. The fight was difficult and carried on into the night. Basically the audience had their dinner there. Nut eventually defeated all his nine major beasts, the vampire, the werewolf, the Cerberus, the gargoyle, the centaur, the Minotaur, the ghoul, the basilisk, and the revenant, and defeated him with three rounds of Piece de Resistance.

Nut's victory aroused greater applause from the audience. Alucard congratulated Nut on his victory in this match. While their hands were locked in a handshake, suddenly a ball of bright light appeared in the sky. Suddenly Alucard exclaimed "Daylight! I must go!"

Nut was puzzled. Was that daylight or someone emitting light that was as bright as the sun? Nevertheless, Nut dared not looked at it, lest he went blind. When the glaring brightness was finally gone, Nut looked at what appeared to be another one of those handsome men girls will go ga-ga over (Nut was starting to feel plainer and uglier). This guy was actually the Märchenland-based incarnation of Hideaki (whom Akira/Nut later got to know at the Kaiseki Kaishoku, and merged with him before copulating with Naomi). He introduced himself as Apollo, the successor of the Lord of Light. When Nut and Apollo started fighting, Apollo was difficult to deal with as he would use strong light to blind Nut and then attack him when he was defenseless. It took Nut a while before he learned to detect Apollo's qi while closing his eyes to fight him. That was when Nut's "third eye" was born. Nut's third-eye allowed him to see things his ordinary eyes could not see. This was the sign of his evolution towards becoming a being with higher awareness. Nut eventually defeated Apollo.

After the prize presentation ceremony, Nut went to the infirmary to see Case, but could not locate him. A badly injured girl on one of the beds called out to Nut to tell me that he wouldn't be able to find Case already. Nut panicked and begged her to tell him where Case was. That was when she told Nut in detail about the final battle with Master Kestrel which actually revealed that she was actually Case, where Case was the identity she assumed when travelling to avoid being vulnerable to attacks by robbers and women traffickers, and her name was Cait Sith, who used to be part of the girl group Cinqanges for three years as a dancer, singer, and also violinist, but left after learning that her brother was killed by Sorcerer Kestrel. She learnt the Piece de Resistance technique from her brother but decided to join the girl group Bellequartre after watching an exciting performance by them. Eventually her desire to avenge her brother's death brought her to Nut. Nut took care of her after that, and they became closer. However, their time together was short lived as a war broke out in Märchenland, waged by a demon called Woldaemal. Nut and the fighters fought him, but they were defeated and had to retreat. They were led by a master fighter called "Garaya (我来也)" (an asexual being from the Planet Roteufel) to the mountains of Echidna for further training

Eventually all of them proceeded to fight with Woldaemal, but Cait Sith and Nut were killed. Nut eventually remerged with Zoner back on Earth, since a Novagel will re-merge with his original-body after he was destroyed to recharge. Thus, Nut returned back to his pathetic un-hatched state. On Earth, that was called a "wimp". Meanwhile, the rest of them did not kill him but managed to place him in suspended animation while they sealed him in a chamber and placed powerful seals to keep him there. Garaya recruited the rest of the Novamos team that became the Hokkaido-based Shirakaba Ninja Corps. It wasn't long before Woldaemal was set free and returned to Earth to resume command as the leader of the True Knights of Asia, naming himself "Dongfang Bumieh".

**********************************************

The view of the sea was beautiful. Akira never imagined things could go so well. He recovered his memories, got the girls of his dreams and fantasies, had his fantasies fulfilled with them, and got back his powers. His language abilities were also enhanced, or rather, restored. There was nothing in the world that completed a man more than this. He felt that he could take on the world already.

Just when he was about to leave the coast, he sensed a presence. He was being followed. He could feel the flow of energy just by sensing movements in the air. That was how augmented his senses had become since his awakening.

However, the other person also could sense that he had noticed, and had suddenly disappeared.

"Hey that's bad", he mumbled to himself. "If you want to get me, can you do it more openly? I hate it when people behave sneakily."

Akira decided to follow his stalker, since he had time on his hands. Moreover, someone of such caliber to disappear at such quick speed was probably someone of high fighting caliber, and was also possibly someone with an ulterior motive.

Akira rushed to where he sensed the stalker was previously. There was nothing there, except that he could sense the movement of energy heading off in a certain direction. He dashed further inland into the forest.

He followed the trail of energy until he came to an area where there was more flat ground and less vegetation, and that was when he saw her, a tall and slim lady dressed to the nines in designer fashion, including a long black scarf wrapped nicely round her shoulders. She didn't look local, more European. She had dark brown hair and her facial features were quite polished, like those fashion models in women's magazines.

"So I've finally found you", she said in heavily Italian-accented English. "Disciple of Sorcerer Kestrel!"

Akira was very surprised. How did she know Sorcerer Kestrel?

"So you know Sorcerer Kestrel! How are you related to him?"

"I am the daughter of one of the more powerful Italian mafia families in New York. However, he destroyed everything that I had. My family, and our family's business. I'm now an orphan without my parents, uncles, siblings, cousins, husband and children. All were killed by him."

"I'm sorry to hear that, but he's already dead. I killed him, even though he was my master, so what do you want with me?" asked Akira.

"To kill you," she said.

"To kill me? For what? I avenged you!"

"That's why I must kill you!" said the woman.

"By the way, you haven't even told me your name. Isn't it polite to let your victim know who is going to kill him? You said you were from a powerful mafia family in New York."

"My name is Rita Corleone, the sole survivor of the Corleone family", said Rita. "I will destroy everything that was related to Kestrel! You, and your other friend! Where is he?"

"Him?" Akira realized she was referring to "Case", which was actually Cait Sith (Yumeko) in disguise. "He didn't come to Earth!"

"Nevertheless, I will find him and kill him after I kill you!"

"Wait a minute! Before you kill me, can you tell me why Sorcerer Kestrel had to kill you? I mean, even if he was such a rotten man before he turned over a new leaf, I'm very sure he must have a compelling reason to wipe out your family!"

"Very smart! He was after our family heirloom! Our family's treasure! The Guardiani Del Tempo!" She then took out an object hidden under her scarf to show it to Akira. It was a platinum pendant hanging round her neck that was made into the shape of a sandglass hung on the necklace chain by the narrow neck. One side of the pendant had the carved image of the sun, and the other side had the carved image of a crescent moon. "This was the power that was providing our family power for generations. My family's love for me caused them to entrust this treasure to me, and got them killed. Kestrel wanted this sandglass to boost his powers."

Akira could sense that the pendant was emitting energy similar to that of a Bridestone. There was probably a similar stone hidden within the pendant. "What are the gems embedded in the sandglass?"

"Haha, you're sharp! They are the sun and the moon stone. Legend has it that other than the 7 Bridestones, there are 2 more stones that can be added to the 7 stones to generate immense power that would make the owner invincible.

"What? Sun and moon stone?" Akira was shocked. He had no idea that such stones existed. "If that's the case, I won't be surprised if others will be after it, other than Kestrel himself."

"Whatever! I don't care! This was the stupid stone that caused my family to be destroyed! I won't need it, but I will need its power to defeat you!"

"Relying on something like that won't help you. I have already seven such gems inside me. I am not human, for your information! If you are a mere human being aided by such powers, then that's more than half the battle won for me!" said Akira.

"Do not mock me! Even if I fall in battle, the dignity of my family will live on! I shall defeat you fair and square to honor the Corleone family!" said Rita.

"Okay, fine! Give it a try! You'll regret this," said Akira confidently.

Rita then released her scarf from her shoulders, and it slithered round her like a snake.

"My trusty scarf, Formidabile, will assist me in terminating you", said Rita. "Andare, Formidabile!" she ordered.

She grabbed Formidabile at one end, and started swinging it around her like a whip. She attempted to strike Akira with her "whip", but Akira dodged. Akira fired a few fireballs at her, but she nullified his projectile attacks easily by whipping them. Akira then charged at her to hit her, but the scarf wrapped itself round his fist. When Akira tried to hit her with his other fist, the other end of the scarf then wrapped itself round it. Rita then grabbed the middle portion of the scarf, yanked it upwards, causing Akira to be pulled off the ground, then yanked it downwards to slam him onto the ground. As if that was enough, she repeated that motion to slam him onto the other side. After that, the grip of the scarf on the hand loosened.

Akira wasted no time in delivering an uppercut to her neck, causing her to fly a certain distance before falling hard on the ground. "Oops, was that too hard? I forgot that she is just a human being!" Then Akira gave chase to get to where she landed. Once he spotted her, he rushed over to her to punch her when she was on the ground. However, she was quick enough to get up and deliver a leg sweep to him, sweeping him off balance and causing him to hit the ground again. She then wasted no time in stepping on his chest with her Ferragamo heels, and then kicking him aside. However, he got up just in time to deliver a turning kick to send her flying over a certain distance.

This slowly went on and they kept heading southwards, and they ended up at Lake Akan.

Akira figured that he had to stop her. But how? If that pendant was the source of her power, how was he going to get it off her?

Rita then used her scarf to whip him, and that was when he found his chance. He grabbed her scarf, and channeled his energy into it. At first, it was Rita's energy that was flowing through the scarf to make it do her bidding, so what he needed to do was to channel his own energy into the scarf to counter her energy and make her lose control over the scarf.

It worked. Akira then casted a fire spell on the scarf to cause it to burn. The scarf did burn all the way to her fingers. Akira then took advantage of her distraction to grab the pendant from her neck. Akira then grasped the pendant hard, crushed it into powder, and scattered the powdered pieces over Lake Akan. Rita then fainted.

Akira made a call to Yumeko to come and help him. They brought Rita back to their command base to ask her more about her pendant. It turned out that the real one was already stolen from her, and replaced by a fake one that controlled her with a spell. However, she was not aware that there were supposed to be gems embedded in her pendant. Plus, she could not describe her attacker's appearance since it was dark and he was covered in a hood that concealed his appearance. Yumeko made arrangements with the Vatican to help her rebuild her life. She left Japan soon after for Rome, and no news about her was heard ever since.

However, one mystery remained, which was who the person who stole the sun and moon stones was, what the sun and moon stones were, and where he went. It was obvious that he was up to no good since he replaced it with a fake pendant that controlled her and sent her to Japan to kill Akira. Moreover, there was no telling whether the two gems existed in the first place, or if it was just a make-belief story. The gems could be fake in the first place and there were no real ones.

Since there was no conclusion to this case, it was soon forgotten as Akira started his training.
