"NO!" Andrew reply. He is a little bit worry this little girl knows his true indentity.
"Hahaha... I know it! There's no way a nobleman like Andrew William has as much time as you. After all, he definitely wouldn't waste his precious time just chatting with people he doesn't know, like me, right?"
Andrew was speechless. He bitterly smiled as he focused on driving.
Not long after, they arrived at the City Building.
"Andrew, thanks for the ride."
"No problem. I happen to have to go to the office." He pointed to the W Group building opposite City Building "Mel...." Andrew looked at her, who was ready to get out of the car. Mel suddenly stopped and looked at him. He adds... "Later, can we go home together?"
Mel suddenly blushed. She could only reply, "Yes."
"Alright! Call me when you finished."
Mel nod. Then, she got out of the car and ran into the City Building. Her heart was beating fast.
Andrew laughed seeing her disappeared into the building, then he took his cell phone and sent a message.
[A] Do I have a Villa in Green Forest? If not, buy it immediately.
Raymond, who just entered his office, frowned at his young master's message. In no time, he answered his message.
[Raymond] Yes, you have.
[A] Starting from tonight, I will live in the Green Forest. You have four hours to prepare the place.
"Moving to the Green Forest? It looks like the young master got the girl. He even wants to live close to her Grandma's house!" Raymond laughed happily.
[Raymond] Yes, young master.
As soon as she arrived on the 25th floor, the receptionist at the front desk greeted her. Mel just nodded slightly. Then she went straight to her office, which was right next to the CEO's office.
"Ms. Mel, how are you?" Amanda, Hiro's secretary, stood up from her chair then walked over to Mel.
Mel smiled, seeing her. "Hi Amanda, where is your boss?"
"Mr. Hiro is having a meeting outside." Amanda followed Mel into her room. "Ms. Mel, what would you like to drink?" Mel doesn't have an assistant in the office because she rarely comes here. Usually, when she stopped by the office, Amanda and Hiro would help her if she needed something.
"No need, just finish your job. Don't worry about me. I'm only here for a moment." Mel did not intend to stop by the office. Earlier, when Andrew asked her, she didn't realize she answered. She was going to the office. It's proof that near him makes her brain going wild.
Mel's office is not very spacious, but the interior designer chooses the right furniture, making the narrow space look big. It uses a Scandinavian interior, dominated by earth colors.
She is not picky about the interior style. The most important thing is that her desk must be spacious, complete with a super-sophisticated computer. For computer matters, she handles them alone. Mel imports directly from a computer company in country M, who already knows her needs.
Mel didn't go straight to her desk. She stood in the large glass window, her eyes looking at the building in front, the W Group's headquarters that stood majestically. Her role model company, she always believed that one day she would grow up like that.
[MT] Hi Andrew, on what floor is your office?
Andrew, who was standing looking at City Building, smiled, reading her message.
[A] 44th floor. You?
[MT] 25th floor. Can you see me? I was standing looking at your building (smile icon)
[A] Yes, but not so much. I thought I'll buy binoculars so I can see you all the time (lol)
Mel couldn't help but chuckle as she read the message.
[MT] Andrew, I have to work. Talk to you later (waving icon) (grin icon)
She was still standing looking at the W Group building. Somehow, she felt happy just by exchanging messages with Andrew.
She didn't understand what had happened to her. The first time she saw Andrew, she found him attractive, and she wanted to get to know him more. Then, when they met in the elevator at the Grandma Recipe restaurant a few weeks ago, her heart wavers a little. For the first time, Mel felt such a feeling when she saw the opposite sex.
And, today, she doesn't seem to know herself anymore. She couldn't control herself. Andrew seemed to control her feelings and thoughts. Does he have superpowers?
Mel chuckled at the thought. She cleared her throat and walked over to her desk. She turned on all the computers and immediately immersed herself in her work.
After a while,
"Max, please check Harry and Sam's current position." She asked.
"Yes, Boss!"
Not long after, Max came back. "Boss, Mr. Harry is meeting outside while Mr. Sam was in his office."
"OK, thank you, Max." She immediately called Sam to come to her office.
They met to discuss several issues about the official announcement of the digital bank, which will launch in the next few weeks. Although Mel is fully responsible for this company, that is only behind the curtain. For now, she is not ready to be exposed. It would be troublesome if others knew her identity as the founder of the MT Group.
So, for Digital Bank, Sam will be in charge, and Windy will assist Sam. Windy expert in business and finance.
After a while of their meeting, there was a knock on the door.
"Come in." She looks towards the door and sees Windy coming in. "I thought you were on leave?" Mel said to Windy.
She recalled Windy's asking permission to take a leave a few days ago. Her family in S City was admitted her grandfather to the hospital.
"I just came in today." She said and sat down next to Sam.
"What about Grandpa Salim?" Mel worried because Grandpa Salim was Windy's elder who was still alive. Her grandmother and parents had long passed away. Besides that, Grandpa Salim is also her grandmother's confidant.
"Grandpa is fine. He's overworked." Windy chuckled, her head slightly shake "and... it seems Grandpa just misses me. As soon as I arrived at the hospital, he was instantly healthy! Can you believe it?"
"Yes, the old man seems to miss you. Windy, you should pay more attention to him."
Windy nods in agreement.
Soon, they resumed their meeting until it was dark outside.
Mel realizes she has another appointment. She immediately dismissed the meeting and called Andrew, afraid he would be upset for waiting so long.
