Her First Ending

The odd but lengthy day ends, as Chang exits the school building to her 10 minute walk home. During her walk home, she thinks deeply about her incident with Chao but also her beautiful classmate. She began to question what her classmates motives were and why Chao had ordered her to stay away. As she walks closer to home she stops and looks at the park again, the park that was present in a new beginning, the park that had changed her usual routine in life. She decides to sleep at the slide again as she notices children playing on the swings and smiles at them. However, their parents quickly grabbed them away and mumbled how they must stay away from her as if she was a contagious awful disease. On the other hand, this allowed her to prepare herself to sleep on the slide entrance once again and she sits in a cross legged position and she leans back, looking at the sky as it slowly begun to get darker as if just her appearance had made it mould or become dirty.

She begins to slowly close her eyes where a soft whisper calls to her

"Excuse me"

Chang awakes quickly looking towards the direction of the voice. There, was her beautiful classmate Euhang smiling at her.

"Sorry! I must of scared of you" she says.

Chang looks upon her in disbelief and asks

"Euhang! What are you doing here again?"

Euhang laughs and grabs her hand

"Come on let's go to my place to sleep" she says.

Chang looks towards her hand and quickly pushes it off. Euhang looks at her worriedly,

"Don't come near me! I don't want to talk to you!" Chang shouts.

Euhang looks at Chang with surprise and replies

"I'm sorry Chang if I offended you."

Chang looks at Euhang's face and begins to feel sorry and apologises.

Euhang smiles and grabs Chang's hand again.

"Listen Chang, I understand if you don't want to come to my place since we don't know each other that well. But I really like you and I just want you to be safe. You don't have to tell me why you're here or anything about your life I just want you safe since I care about you." She looks at Chang who has a serious expression on her face and continues "I know it's weird since we only just met yesterday but I could instantly tell you're a good person and it seems that no one here can tell that but me so I want to be here for you as long as I can." She finishes.

Chang looks at Euhang with tearful eyes as she's in disbelief to what she had just heard. She would never expect for anyone to want to be her friend or even want to talk to her. Whenever Euhang had meaner intentions or not she wanted to give it a try.

Euhang smiles at Chang and wipes her tear away and says

"How about we play around for a bit since we are at a park." She says and continues "And if you're sleeping here I will to since we are friends you get it?"

Chang looks up at Euhang and let's out a small laugh and she does the same. They play on every thing that's present in the park and laugh the night away until they sleep. The next morning they go their separate ways and meet at school.

The day goes great for the two but rapidly changes as lunch appears as Chao asks to see Chang on the rooftop.

"Isn't it great to be in a place you're entirely fond of Chang?" Chao states.

Chang stares at Chao with fear as he chuckles evilly.

He walks slowly to Chang making her fall to the ground and grabs onto her collar.

"Didn't I tell you stay away from Euhang?" He questions.

Chang pushes Chao off her and stands up

"We are friends! Me and her have a very good friendship and I enjoy being with her and you can't stop that for your own selfish desire!" She yells.

Chao enrages in anger and walks towards her and grabs her again this time with a stronger grip.

"She would never want to be friends with a loser like you! You will forever be alone, you don't deserve happiness!" He shouts.

"That's not true! My family may have been evil but not me ever! And I never will! Euhang is my friend because she understands me she would never wanna be friends with a bully like you! You're no different to my family!" Chang shouts.

Chao stares at her and laughs and calmly states

"No you see me and your family are very different. The reason we are different is because they don't love you but I do!" He shouts and Chang looks at him with disbelief as he continues "Only I can have you because you're the only one who understands me and I understand you! You don't need Euhang you need me you fool!" He shouts.

Chang stares at him with anger and shouts "I'll never need someone like you! Stop lying!"

Chao let's go off her and bows his head down.

"So I'm taking that as a no then?" He questions calmly.

Chang sits up worried.

Chao bends down towards her and says "I'm sorry I wanted to do this another way where we could actually end up together. But it's to late now."

As Chang tries to get up Chao stabs her side causing her to slowly fall back down looking up.

Everything begins to fade as birds start to fly slowly and everything seemed to be dizzy. Chang looks at the blood on her hand and she tries to gasp for more air trying to endure the pain. She starts to give up and look around as the world melts before her.

"I'll get you in another life" she hears and she turns her head towards the rooftop door where a large slam is heard, and she watches the footsteps of someone coming to her as she hears the cries and screams of her name. The soft voice she had been hearing from the past two days, the soft voice she can so clearly remember because it belonged to someone so special. Someone who saved her and made her feel happy but now has to let go. She looks upon the beauty holding her hand crying as she feels her tears spill onto her face. Chang smiles one last time at her as she slowly closes her eyes.
