CONTRACT WITH THE DEMON PRINCE

Ling went to the king first to report the situation of his mother, the queen.

"His Majesty is busy", one of the guards stationed outside King Sek's throne room told the wizard.

Ling gave him a look that made the guard that had spoken previously open the door for him to enter.

When Ling had crossed the door and stepped into the throne room, he found the king with his cabinet members as they sat around a round table talking about matters of state.

The second guard faced the guard that had talked to Ling and said; "You would have become my pet today"

"How do you mean?", the dub guard asked.

"Because you would have been turned into a frog. You acted as if you didn't know who that was", the second guard finished.

It was known all over in the security of the king that Ling, the wizard, Prince Seth, the king's halfbrother had access to the king anytime and anywhere. Regardless of what the king was doing.

Ling Covers Up
