Veni knew that Anthony had looked at him but what he could not understand was why he had looked at him that way.

Veni kept his gaze fixed on the princess. He had never seen someone with hair so red and her eyes were so green. She had a piercing gaze that made you feel like you can be comfortable with her. It made you want to trust and tell her all your troubles. Veni noticed that he could not peel his gaze from this redhaired beauty and he saw no one else around, except her.

"I will get whatever you tell me to the king, Princess", Veni said.

Anthony noticed a change in this young man that had been traveling with him for a few days now. And for Anthony, he thought he had already read and known the kind of simpleton that Veni seemed like. And now, he looked at Veni and thought about the fact that he may not have known him at all.
