Confusion

"It is too cold outside, Ruby... come inside the room," Seth said as he stood at the entrance of the balcony with the saucer of tea in his hands and a look of concern on his face.

He wondered why she was being this way but knew that something must have disturbed her. It worried him the more knowing that she had been in this mood for some days now and she didn't want to open up to him. This was not how Seth wanted him and Ruby to be. Why was she always keeping things from him?

But, that was not what he was going to talk to her about now. They would figure that out later — as time goes on. For now, he only needed to know what had happened in his absence.

"Did my brother do it say something to you?" Seth asked. "Please tell me, Ruby. It's driving me crazy you not saying anything. How are we supposed to work that way? Please talk-"

"Funny you should say that," Ruby cut in.
