Love Turned Hatred

In the Red Kingdom, Sek sat down with a finger on one of his hands tapping the armrest of his throne repeatedly. He had dismissed all the officials that had come to see him and had ordered cases to be judged postponed. He was in no mood that day just as it was every other day.

He had had no rest --no peace -- since that day that he had been betrayed -- totally betrayed -- by his only brother. Sek could not let go of the hatred that he had developed for Seth. The love that he had had for his younger brother equated to the hatred that he had for him now.

Sek had been relentless in the search for Seth. There was no way in the world that Sek was going to let the humiliation that Seth caused him slip by. He had been disobeyed and the way Sek saw it, he had been totally ridiculed by Seth.
