Seth stared down at her. If his heart could come out of his chest, it would have at that moment. In all his life, no one had really accepted him for who he was -- not that he was looking for acceptance. However, Seth had wanted nothing else than for the love of his life to accept him for who he was -- for Ruby to love him the way he was. Now, Ruby held him in this form and all he could see in her eyes was care -- and love.
Seth lifted his hands to her face and cradled her delicate chin for a moment. He just stared and stared, looking into her eyes as if searching for something there. He just didn't know what to do and it was annoying that he couldn't talk at this point. But even though he was in his human form, what would he have been able to say? Ruby had left him speechless.
"We'll do this together," Ruby spoke again. "We will do everything together from now on, Seth Red."
