A Year Later

A year had passed and Ruby had still not gotten closer to understanding what had happened to Seth. She had summoned wizards, witches, and even diviners from various parts of the world, but none had told her what she wanted to hear. None had come close to solving her problems as they went about guessing and performing frivolous magic. Ruby had grown an intense distaste for magic but she didn't have an option as that was the only way to get Seth back -- or so she thought.
