CONTRACT WITH THE DEMON PRINCE

"You will tell me what happened, and you will tell me now!" Yianni yelled. His voice broke as he spoke. There was a fear in his heart – fear to hear what had really happened. Somehow, Yianni still held the torch of hope, keeping the fire burning. Perhaps, there was a faint chance that Horas was still alive. Maybe he was out there and Yianni could go and get him and save him.

'There has to be something,' Yianni thought as he looked into the bloodshot eyes of the guard.

"Your Majesty!" The doctor called, stepping closer to the king.

"I thought I told you to be quiet, Doctor!" Yianni snapped.

"Forgive me but he can not speak, Your Majesty. He-"

"Don't give me that nonsense!"Yianni yelled with his gaze still fixed on the guard's face.
