Breaking Point

Theo cleared his throat and stepped forward. His heart rammed in his chest and worry encompassed his entire being as he got closer to the king and saw what Vasso was passing through. Theo could not imagine how the king felt as they didn't know the outcome of the battle yet. He could see that the king hadn't slept in days and it hurt him the most seeing that there was nothing he could do about it.

King Vasso had intensely secluded himself for fear of being captured or being betrayed. There was no one the king trusted right now and Theo, who should be hurt about such development -- he understood and was patient with the king.

But Theo felt that what he had to say could not be hidden from the king. King Vasso was supposed to know about the situation.
