The Light That Came With Lia

"I found Lia first. She was left at the door of the orphanage. It was raining very heavily, even lightning struck very thickly. That night was remembered as the day of the worst storm in town, the first one to hit." Mrs. Nina reminisced about that time, her eyes uttering in the middle of her speaking lips.

"There was a lightning bolt which eventually knocked down a tree in front of the orphanage. A roar was heard throughout the room. Then there was the sound of something breaking. I went to check outside, wanting to see if any of the roof tiles had been crushed, as well as the roof that had been hit by a tree.

When I was still in the orphanage, the bigger lightning struck again. Its voice was so deafening that it seemed as if it had broken above the orphanage building. I heard all the children screaming, and the door of the home squeaked open."
