One-Sided Love

"Are you okay?" Prince Xanfon's steps stopped for a moment when he found Princess Althea absentmindedly looking at him. Under normal conditions, her assertiveness could be compared to that of a general. Her gaze would be very sharp, though clad with gentleness. She was two quite confusing contrasting elements.

"It's all right," she shook her head. The skirt of her dress swept across the floor, like a gentle breeze moving the leaves. Her silver hair was slightly scattered, in shorter and thinner sections. "I was just wondering, are you tired today? If so, maybe you can stay in your study room."

"I can't possibly refuse the king's summons."

"He will be your subordinate soon."

"Even so your father came."

Princess Althea's cheeks suddenly turned red. As a princess who was in the palace, and was wearing a royal gown, she shouldn't have made more expressions. Maybe it wasn't good for her pride, or maybe it wasn't good for her safety.
