"Run dear we don't know when the watchers will, and take us away." said Alice, looking around to see if she and her husband were being followed.
"What do you think the guy that told us and the watchers is doing right now?" asked Jason, looking at his wife. "I wonder what Iris, and Chris are doing right now?"
"I called Chris, and he said that Iris and him are doing fine right now," said Alice.
"We need to get back as soon as possible." said Jason, smiling at his wife.
Running back to the house.
"What should we do if we get caught?" asked Alice, piecing her lips together.
"That is a question that I don't have the answer to at all." said Jason, as he looked around the area.
"Well, you are helpful at the moment. Not really helpful, though." Said Alice, with a deadpan stare, as she continued to run.
"Wait, if we go back to the house would the things chasing us find our children?" asked Jason, as he picked up the pace.
"You have a point, it is not like we can show then our children or they might not be safe anywhere." said Alice .
"Then where should we go? It is not like we can hide from them to begin with. We are already past the watchers stage now." said Jason, looking behind him to see if anyone or anything was behind them.
"You make a good point, Jason. Now, what are we going to do about this thing in my backpack?" asked Alice, gesturing towards the backpack on her back.
"That is a valid question, one that I don't have the answer to nor do I think we are ever going to have the chance to find out about what is in that book." said Jason, as he slowed down.
"Then the next course of action should make sure that the book does not get in the wrong hands," said Alice.
"That is true, but where to hide the book. They know every place that we could hide it." Said Jason.
"You have a point Though where to hide it." said Alice.
"Let me think for a second or two." said Jason.
"What is taking you so long to think of something?" asked Alice, looking over at her husband.
"I am wondering where we are going to hide that book. That group really wants it back." said Jason, looking around to see if anyone was following them.
"What are you doing?" asked Alice, looking at her husband.
"Thinking on where to hide the book, as you pointed out," said Jason.
"That makes sense to me. Though we need to hurry." said Alice, breathing heavily.
"Do you have an idea on where to hide the book?" asked Jason, tilting his head towards his wife. "What are you thinking about?"
"How about in Gloria Molina Grand Park?" asked Alice, picking up the pace.
"That would be a good idea. I think there is a Free library in that park." said Jason, nodding his head.
"Yes, I believe there is one," said Alice.
"Then we should hurry and get rid of the book." said Jason, as he maneuvered in front of his wife.
"Following you dear." said Alice.
As they ran to the free little library, black monsters followed them.
"Running there it will still take three hours to get there!" Yelled Alice, looking over at her husband.
"We need to hurry then," said Jason.
"Agreed," said Alice.
Alice and Jason kept running like their life depended on it.
Three hours and thirty-five minutes later
"We finally made it to the little library," said Jason, wheezing.
"Put the book into the little library?" asked Alice, reaching into her backpack and handing the book to Jason.
Jason put the book into the little library. Closing the door to the little library and walked away from the library.
"Now that is done, what do you want to do right now?" asked Jason, looking over at his wife.
"We should find a place to hide. Though I don't know if that will work." Said Alice.
"True, it might not actually work." Said Jason, letting out a deep sigh. "This will not end well for us at all."
"Then we need to go right now," said Alice, looking around to see if they were being followed.
As they walked away from the little library, the watchers looked on from a distance.
"We should have a plan just in case we get caught, right?" asked Alice, as she looked around the area that they were walking in.
"That is a good point you made. That being said, I don't think we'll have enough time to figure that out," said Jason, as he looked at his wife if a sad look on his face.
Just as he finished, the air vibrated.
"Um, Jason, look around us at the moment." said Alice, as she looked around frantically.
"This is not good at all. Alice, hold my hand!" Yelled Jason, as he reached out his hand towards his wife.
"You got it. Here you go," said Alice, staining her arm out to reach Jason.
A crashing noise was heard and a sound like a metal cage door slamming shut.
"Jason, where are you?" Asked Alice, looking around the room frantically trying to find Jason.
"Ow my head." said Jason looking around a dimly lit room.
"Wow, look who we caught in that trap," said someone from the shadows.
"What are you doing here?" Asked Jason, looking over in the voice's direction.
Stepping out from the right shadows. A tall man in a black suit looking down at the two people trapped in cages.
"What you are two so on edge is your friend Edgar," said Edgar, smiling with a crooked smile.
"What is the plan now that you have us here?" asked Alice, looking angrily at Edgar.
"Where is the book that the founder left with you?" asked Edgar, as he paced back and forth in front of the cells that were electrified. "I have information that told me you have the book that was left with you. We know the founder left it with you,"
"We don't know what you are talking about," said Jason, with a defiant look going across his face. "Also, if we knew that answer. We will not tell you at all,"
"I have ways I can get the information that I need," said Edgar, as he stopped walking back and forth.
