Dream

"The fuck did you two do?" It was the first ever time Rinn has said a cuss word for his intire life. Cody and Hidaka kneel down on their knees from the overwhelming aura from Rinn. "Ohayo" khai said that made Rinn flinched.

Rinn looked at Khai and said "you're alive?" . Khai became pale and said "you want me to die?" . "Ah... Ehh... No I um... are you alright? " Rinn stuttered. "... More or less, more importantly why are they kneeling? " Khai asked innocently. Rinn was speechless for his son's behavior of showing affection to someone he just met.

"I thought they harmed you? Is it not?" Rinn asked. Khai was unsure what to answer so he just kinda play it off by saying ".. It's just a friendly fight ... Maybe,or just a misunderstanding ... I think"

Rinn cought no lie even though those words were unsure, he just look at his watch and said to change the topic "... Oh! Look at the time! You're going to be late! I better go too" he turned away as Cody and Hidaka stand.

Khai wanted to ask a pile of question but the only question that seems higher than the others is "Father, do you know a guy named Hina, Katsumi Hina?" . Rinn turn around which made Cody and Hidaka go back on kneeling. Rinn look at Cody and point his finger on him then said " Yeah, you've met him already" .

" But that's ...Sawaki Cody " Khai was confuse and can't believe it because there's no way that two names matched each other but he can tell lie from truth and what his father's words said weren't lies. Rinn left the room without saying anything. Khai sat on the windowsill as Cody and Hidaka stand up again,

"Let's go back to class if we don't wanna be late and get scolded again by sensei" Hidaka said as he look at Khai and Cody,both nodded and leave their room.

The classroom is noisy as always,some of their classmates are playing with their power,running around,and fighting but as soon as Chika came in everything became quiet and neat it's as if nothing extraordany has happened.

"Tomorrow at 9:00 on the hot spring don't be late or I'll leave you behind without thinking twice! That's all bye" Chika spoke and leave the room.

" YAAAY!!" Everyone said before rushing outside,Many students were already outside other than the three,namely Khai, Cody, and Hidaka.

Every second day of the year of school the school planned a party on wherever side of the city for free.

Khai is staring on the sakura tree watching its petals to slowly fall to the ground and it really soothe him.Hidaka on the otherhand is playing with the hair of the sleeping Cody. Hidaka got a bit bored, "Hey Khai-san how did you know that name?" So he asked curiously.

"On the diary, well, it's mine actually, I just forgot about my past so I read it and it's a good thing the lock on it only needs blood to unlock it" Khai answered honestly without hesitation. "Oh! Then how about the Colínes's theory about not having a child of night for all their generation?" Hidaka asked again.

" That, isn't a lie and I'm not a full fledged child of night, I was born on an eclipse so it does not count and the only reason how to know if the new born baby is a child of the night or day is the present of the sun or moon but on my case they're both there so..." Khai explained.

there's nothing especial about the child of eclipse, it just means,they can live a normal life like the child of day and get corrupted like the child of night.

" I see, when you were in elementary do you remember having a friend?" Hidaka asked again and this time is not about being curious but about a research to cure his friend. "I don't know,maybe,even if I have one I probably forgot about it" Khai answered.

" Hmmm.can I request you something?" Hidaka said and smile. " Under one condition" Khai answered. "Okay just tell me,as long as I can do it I will" Hidaka said with pride. " Don't hide your faces anymore" Khai said with an indifferent look. "...okay" Hidaka flicked his finger and revealed their real faces,Cody has a dark green hair and an undoubtly handsome face while Hidaka has the same deep black hair,a purple eyes and a small mole under it,both their face is truly attractive so it's no surprise why they got a lot of admirers.

"Now about my request" Hidaka smiled a winning smile and that gave khai an instant bad feeling, " You reap what you sow but that doesn't mean you can't sew it back?" Hidaka implied that Khai must cure Cody with all his power because it's all his fault why Cody became corrupted.

"I understand but please give me an instruction or steps to cure him, I really don't know how" Khai said honestly. " Heh! Then change your hair from black to white" Hidaka said, Khai did as he was told.

" Wake Cody up with a happy and energetic tone as you smile brightly" Hidaka added." Bu- " " No buts! " Hidaka said immidiately before Khai finish his reply.

"..."

Khai shaked Cody,Cody won't woke up, " wake up cody it's me C,Cody jr.d,did you miss me?" Khai said, though it was kinda halfassed,you can see how sincere it was when you look at Khai's smile on his thin lips and beaming light from his sapphire like eyes.

Cody's eyes widened when he clearly see the vague image of the guy he called Cody junior from kindergarten till he graduated elementary and also his only reason to live, "Whoa! A dream?,Again?,Can't you just became reality?,I'm getting impatient you know?, I've waited for more than three years for our promise of never breaking our friendship and always be my bestfriend forever! Are you ceasing forever now? Are you a God now? Or are you dead!?,if not then are you just avoiding me,if yes then please just tell me already!,It's already super hard to pretend you're not the new guy on our school!,It's not very pleasant when you make it that obvious you're avoiding me!" .

Khai spat blood from earlier and now he got a nosebleed from what he just heared. He pinched Cody's cheek and said " it's not a dream but if you want me to be JUST a dream then I'll knock you out!" Khai got carried away by his emotion and needed to calm down but it seems like he can't get away from the crying Cody.
