Ruby's Trick

Bennie came out the back door of the restaurant. He walked in and looked for table number 23, just like what Reino had said on the phone.

When he reached table number 23, Bennie saw a young man who had just finished eating.

Hesitantly, he asked, "Excuse me, Are youReino?"

Ruby was surprised when she saw Bennie in front of her. Nervously, she replied, "I—yes, right! I—I'm Reino."

It was her father—Bennie. The man who for three years abandoned herself and her mother.

"Let's sit down," Ruby said, still nervous.

She pointed to the chair in front of her.

Bennie sat down immediately.

"By the way, what did you need me for?" asked Bennie, without further ado.

"Oh, that...." Ruby hesitated a little. She hadn't thought of a reason to meet Bennie at all.

"Look, Mr. Bennie!" Finally, Ruby came up with an idea. "Yesterday, I saw your social media, which posted about this restaurant. I became interested, and wanted to invest here."

Bennie was surprised, he asked, "Why?"

Ruby again explained, "Because what I see, this place to eat is strategic enough to be used as a restaurant. If you don't mind, I will save the capital here. We will make this simple dining place into a big place to eat. How about it?"

Bennie who heard it was pleased by this. For a long time, Bennie wanted to upgrade this humble restaurant into a very large one. But what power, he did not have much capital to do that.

Now, like the arrival of a Fairy who came down from the sky, Reino came and gave him a miracle. Offered to give him capital. Bennie certainly wasn't going to waste it.

"If you're really serious, I'd be happy to take it," said Bennie happily.

'Phew....' Ruby was sick of hearing that. 'Money base. Just hearing money, he immediately agreed,' Ruby muttered to herself.

He didn't think that Bennie would agree to it.

Ruby immediately justified her emotions, afraid that Bennie would get suspicious.

"OK!" Ruby stood up. "I will go to the ATM to transfer the money. Also, I will make a letter of our cooperation contract. After that, I will come back here again."

Bennie was a little disappointed to hear that. He didn't want tomorrow or later, he wanted Reino to give him the capital now. Don't want to later.

Because faster isn't that better?

"Could it be done today too?" asked Bennie, worried.

"Of course." Ruby assured, "I will make a work contract now. Then go to the ATM to transfer the money. After that, I will come back here to sign our cooperation letter."

"Oh like that!" Bennie was relieved.

"Send your account number to my cell phone. I'll transfer it later. Now, I want to pay this first." Ruby pointed at the table, where there was still an empty plate where she had eaten.

"Don't... don't! If you want to go now, go. This meal doesn't have to be paid for." Bennie refused.

"Ah, no! Don't be like that!" Ruby seemed to refuse. Yet in his heart, she felt sick of continuing to pretend to be close to Bennie.

"Really! You don't have to pay for it. Now go," said Bennie impatiently.

"Ehm ... okay! Thank you for the free" Ruby said. Then she out of his restaurant.

"Yeah... go! Be careful on the road." Bennie waved. His smile never left his lips.

He is very happy about today. Finally, his dream could soon come true.

In the car. Ruby took Reino's wallet from her trouser pocket, then she opened it. Inside were some Euro denominations, and some ATM cards and credit cards, stupidly again in his wallet there was an ID card with his date of birth on it. Ruby guessed that the pin was his birthday.

Ruby hesitated for a moment as she was about to take a bank card from Reino's wallet.

Ruby closed her eyes as she pulled out a bank card, "Sorry Boss Reino! I want your money!"

"Later, if there is a long life, I will return it. Hehehe ...." Ruby laughed evilly ending her speech.

She immediately started the car engine and went downtown to make a cooperation contract, and transfer the money to Bennie's account number.

Arriving in front of the ATM, without hesitation Ruby inserted her ATM card and entered Reino's birthdate combination in the ATM. But it turns out that the pin she entered did not work.

"Ahh, it's not the date of birth. How about this? I have to transfer the money right away," Ruby muttered to herself.
