Reason 4: She Is So Not Good In Handling Money (3)

"You should lower your narcissistic tendencies, guys. It'll instead lessen sureness, according to my studies," I remarked as my classmates looked like they felt incredible pressure.

I smirked at their faces before escaping from the room.

But as soon as I left the room, my tears fell.

Huhuhu~

My seven pesos~ My hard saved seven pesos!

I was tricked by the ice queen who has deep dimples! I'm going to be poor once more.

My heart is bleeding, and so is my pockets.

What about my fare budget for the next month?! I already did a budgeting on my allowance for all my expenses this month!

And now, seven pesos will be missing.

I have to adjust and re-calculate my other expenses, lessen my spending on this aspect, try to stop eating snacks of this price, try to get a diet---

*Ting!*

I stopped at my thoughts when I heard the familiar notification sound of my phone.

I reached for my phone in my pocket to read the text message.

"Sender: Ma'am Cherry," I read.

Oh, Ma'am Cherry? My supervisor?

"Miss Aurelia, your paycheck is already out. Please collect it here in the Municipal Hall. Bring your identification card. Any time this week would be suitable for collection," the text said.

Yey!

You're really heaven sent, Ma'am!

I already have the solution to my problem with the allowance!

I immediately returned to our classroom with a happy expression.

"Blessie, it looks like I'll be treating your fare for a whole week. No questions asked, I'm in a good mood today," I happily said and exited the room once more

I heard many words of curse and regret from my classmates while walking away.

Of course, there are also words of praise and amazement.

"Blessie is seriously being showered by luck this week! She made the kuripot queen treat her for a week! Lucky!" one of them said.

It looks like the reaction time of the ice queen who has deep dimples slowed down for a bit before she can process the information.

Because a few seconds later, I heard her shouts of cheer and happiness which only added to the noise created from our room.

I almost forgot about my salary.

I got a summer job last summer break. It went on for a month until the start of classes.

To think of it, last summer, it was my second time having that job. The District government gives jobs to students as a way to support them in their studies. Although they're not directly giving away the money but having us work for it, which is a good choice of teaching us our values.

Last summer, I really wanted to work for the Treasurer's Office in the Municipal Hall, but I was assigned to another office.

In that office, I was together with my cousin and a graduate from my old school. It was fun, although there are some tiring parts because of the workload.

Hais.

Those rich kids really don't know how to handle money.

Especially that ice queen with the creepy stare.

With the riches her family has to offer, she don't know how to be thrifty and to save money.

Wasteful.

But if my treat can save her, then I'm more than willing to do that for her.

Hmm, and maybe I can also plan her allowances?!

I have to give a mighty tug to that girl so she can understand the reality of us poor people. I'm going to teach her a lesson that she won't forget, ever!

And it seems like she's getting chubbier by the day. She has to diet.

Yup!

She definitely needs one!

And I'll have to have her stop her gambling or at least lessen her gambling habits. All her allowance are gobbled up by those cheaters.

If she loses another day, she'll surely turn to me again and my pockets will surely bleed. So I have to do this for the mighty sake of my beloved pockets and wallet!

And---

"Rae?" my thoughts immediately stopped when she left the room and encountered me in the hallway.

I turned to her and gave her a smile.

(Note: To Blessie, Rae gave her a VERY creepy and crazy smile.)

"Hehehe, Blessie, we would have a lot of planning for your allowance. I won't take no for an answer. We should make sure that your cash outflow should balance with your cash inflow to minimize the damage to my pockets. Your assets must balance with your liabilities and equity. This is the basic Accounting Equation. You should remember. You're an aspiring Accountant. It's better for you to start your healthy life now or you'll have a hard time in your later years," I said as I smiled and explained her the need of planning her allowances.

"H-huh? W-what are you talking about, Rae? What outflow? What equation?" Blessie asked with a curious expression.

(Note: Blessie has a terrified expression, and she even gulped at Rae's insistence of planning. Rae misread the atmosphere because she's definitely going crazy because of the loss of her saved money and her rashness of saying that she'll treat Blessie for a week.)

"Yes. We should plan your allowance. You should avoid gambling in school, lessen your snacks, and you should exercise more and save money for the fare. The Western Terminal is so close to the school, so maybe walking a little would be fine?" I suggested.

"No way," Blessie said in a low voice.

(Note: Blessie, you stepped into a trap the moment you called for the crazy person who loved saving money while thinking about how to minimize her expenses. You brought this upon yourself.)

I can still handle my allowances. I'll be treating her if needed.

Because since the start, I know that my investment with my feelings for her will never have a return.
