Entering the tower, Eros was very surprised by the huge number of magicians inside, there were a little more than three hundred of them, and there were almost no ordinary people there. In the very center of the tower was a small table, at which an old man sat, dressed in a gray cloak, from under which only a couple of wrinkled hands could be seen. Before him stood a large line of magicians holding books in their hands.
The hall itself was a huge room without any decorations, only a couple of chandeliers were on the ceiling. In the hall itself there were several dozen tables at which people were sitting and one in the center of the room, at which the old man was.
Eros immediately joined the line. He was going to explore all three levels, yet even in those books there must be something interesting. It already happened once, when Eros found the most ordinary book on history, in which a message was encrypted to some Roil Macron with coordinates to a certain place. And after reading in more detail about this very man, Eros discovered that he was a famous thief and the titan assumed that there was wealth stolen by this thief. But it was sad that the coordinates were also encrypted, and it was also unknown on which map to read them.
Quite quickly, it was Eros' turn, and as soon as he stood in front of him, the old man's hand trembled. The Titan noticed this, but decided not to pay attention, although he immediately realized that the old man sensed his power.
"Rarely do such young and talented wizards come to us," he said in a calm voice. "What level do you want to get to?
- For starters on the "mortal" - took out of the bag a book that he bought on the way and gave him, - Here.
- Okay, the first thirty floors are available to you, - the old man replied without even looking at her.
- And if I give two more, can I immediately get access to the entire tower? - Eros, immediately felt the old man tense up.
- It is possible, but do you think you have a book of such a high level?
- There is.
- But I warn you that even the ancients who are four hundred years old will not be enough.
The titan smiled back and handed over two more books.
- Hmm ... - taking the first one, the old man quickly leafed through it and put it aside, - The next ten floors are still open for you, - and taking the last one, without a cover and a title, he opened it and leafed through only two pages, abruptly closed it, - Where did you get it such a valuable thing and who is its author ?! He asked in an excited voice.
For a moment, his hood twitched slightly, revealing glittering, greedy eyes. But this was not an ordinary greed, but a greed for knowledge ...
- This is my research, so what? - in that book was the true story of the disappearance of dragons with all the facts that Eros was able to get over the years. The Titan didn't care if anyone found out about it, because it didn't matter to him.
- I don't know if you're telling the truth or not, but four more have to check it first.
- I'll wait.
- If so, - calling a guy of about seventeen to him, the old man whispered something in his ear, he nodded and ran up the stairs, - Until my colleagues come, do not tell about yourself, I still want to know as much as possible about such an outstanding the magician and your teacher.
- I'm an ordinary mediocre mage from Fiore who studies history.
- You must be joking ...
- No jokes, - Eros replied with a slight smile, the old man opposite him was not a stupid person and immediately realized that the titan did not want to answer and, in general, tell something about himself, so he simply closed the topic and in silence they began to wait for his colleagues.
Behind Eros's back, many have long been discussing that the titan was able to force the old man to call four judges and almost everyone was interested in what was written in that book and aroused the old man's keen interest. Some have left the Heavenly Library to convey this news to their guild leaders or bosses, yet this does not happen every day. Others made bets whether he would go to the Divine Level or be refused ...
Five minutes later, four old men began to descend the stairs, followed by a man of about thirty. The old men were dressed in the same raincoats and only the man stood out. He had blonde hair, gray eyes and a slightly intimidating face, especially a small scar on his forehead. He was wearing a shirt with gold patterns and long black trousers made of very good fabric, as well as steel boots, and only from one appearance, one could understand that if you hit you with a foot in such shoes, you would not get off with simple bruises.
"Strong ..." - the titan thought with surprise, looking at the smiling man, - "I would not like to fight with him, otherwise I will have to reveal my strength, but apparently it will not do without a fight ..." - Eros thought with slight annoyance, seeing the fighting spirit, lit up in the eyes of a man.
- For a long time we have not had to go down here, well, show what amazed you so much, - one of them said slightly laughing.
- Just don't choke on your saliva, - he chuckled and handed them the book.
- It's impossible to surprise me, because I've already seen a lot, - he said, stroking his beard, with arrogance.
- Oh well…
Taking the book, the old man opened it and began to read, the other four joined him, but not even a minute passed when they exhaled heavily and looked at the book with disbelief.
- How could we not have thought of this, because everything was on the surface ... "Black Death", how could we not understand who it was ... - he said with annoyance, looking at the cover of the book, - Who is the author, I want to personally shake his hand.
- This kid claims to be the author.
The old men looked at Eros with disappointment, they simply could not believe that some boy could know what they did not know. Yet they are called the "Five Masters of Knowledge" for a reason, because they are the smartest people in the country. And with their arrogance, they just could not even think about this.
- Hmm ... We give you access to the "Divine" level, - having said this, he stopped paying attention to Eros and all five old men went up the stairs, there was only a man who continued to actively stare at the titan.
"I somehow purple believe me or not, I still won't see you in a couple of months ..." - ignoring the admiring / envious glances, the titan went to the stairs.
- And I believe you, - said the smiling man, when Eros passed him, - I am Kuld.
- Eros.
- Eros ... a strange name, in some book I read that that was the name of one of the gods of love and debauchery.
- I have not heard about this, - for a moment Eros's eye twitched, - And yours, "Golden Chicken" ... right?
- Almost, - said Kuld, with a bloodthirsty grin on his face, - My name is translated as" Golden Dragon "and soon you will understand why I was called that.
- And how ...? - the titan moved his head to the right, missing Kuld's blow a centimeter from his face, - So it will be pretty boring, maybe you choose something else? - with a slight smile on his lips, said Eros, walking to the right from the kick and the next moment, blocking his fist five centimeters from his face.
- Come on, come out.
- No, I didn't come here for the sake of a fight, - passing by the man, Eros went towards the stairs, - But if something interesting is at stake, I'll think about it, but for now, be.
Kuld, did not pursue him, yet the Heavenly Library has its own rules and one of them is "no fights", because for breaking this rule, you will be blacklisted and you will no longer be able to visit it. And he knows this rule better than anyone else, so he did not continue. And what was just now can hardly be called a fight, so a simple exchange of blows.
"Still strong, he is much stronger than this idiot Nicolas and if I defeat him ..." - a wide grin appeared on Cloud's face as he looked at the back of the departing Eros.

"What does he want? I just wanted to travel quietly, see the world ... "- the titan thought with annoyance, feeling a pair of eyes glaring at his back, -" Eh ... "
Climbing up the stairs, he saw the inscription "Mortal 1-30" and an arrow pointing to the right, to an open room, on the left there was a staircase going up.
"Apparently there is an ascent to the next floor, but it's too early for me to go there." - he entered the room and was slightly surprised to see the number of books lying on simple wooden shelves. There were tens of thousands of them, but only one was a pity that they were completely useless to him.
On the first floor, there were also a lot of people, almost all of them were reading standing books of their choice, because there was not one chair in the room, some were sitting on the floor or leaning against the wall.
"Hmm… I feel it will take a long time, so we need to be patient and hope that I'm not doing this in vain…" - taking a deep breath, he put on the Hurricane Reading Glasses, took a book from the closest shelf to him, quickly leafed through it and put it back, - "The rule of cleaning a telescope" ... What nonsense ?! - taking the next one, Eros just opened it for a moment and put it back, - "How to prepare fertilizers from th ..." What have I just read ?! - and again examining the entire first floor, a lonely man's tear rolled down his cheek ...
