Job Fair

She looked at herself in the mirror to check her appearance. She wore a white collared top, black slacks, and black pointed shoes. Her brown wavy hair was ponytailed and she just put on some light makeup.

She heard a few knocks before Brie entered the bedroom.

"Mommy, where are you going?" The little girl asked.

Her heart felt delighted seeing Brie in her pajamas. She walked toward her daughter and carried her on the bed.

"I'll try to look for a job so Mommy can buy your favorite toys." She said.

"But Dad is rich. You don't need to work. Daddy said he will buy anything I want."

She chuckled. "I know but Mommy wants to buy something for you and Daddy with my own money. If I bought something using Daddy's money, then it is useless right?"

Brie nodded. "Yeah, it's stu–"

The little girl stopped when Nina glared at her.

"Sorry." Brie murmured.
