As Ryu was resting until his body recovered enough to travel back to the sect, Feng Po went out of the cave carrying a staff. One end of it was burned black, and Ryu recognized it as the remnant of his spear.
"I took it to evaluate the power of that strike. Do you want it back, or I can throw it out?" Feng Po asked
Then Ryu got the 'spear' in his hand and inspected it, seeing that the runes it had were gone and only half of the shaft remained intact. As it was a good weapon he got as a gift from his father, Ryu had a special affection for this weapon, but there was no use in keep storing broken things for an emotional bond, so he decided to dispose of the piece.
But when he grabbed at the intact end of the 'spear' and prepared to throw it far, a sudden realization appeared in his mind. And he looked back to the wood in his hand and asked Feng Po.
"Master, can you make a club out of this?" Ryu asked.
"Now that you need something, you remembered to call me master, but why do you want a club? I already made you the staff." curious Feng Po asked.
"It's not for me. It's a gift for a friend, who decided to use a club as his main weapon, but he doesn't have a good one, and since I am kind of in debt to him, this will do a good gift." Ryu explained.
"Hmmm, that's interesting. In all my years, I haven't seen many people using a club as their main weapon. I will make it." Feng Po said.
And then, he picked the 'spear' from Ryu and went back to the cave. Using a knife to carve the staff into the shape of a club, Feng Po worked on the new weapon. After shaping the weapon, Feng Po proceeded to carve a series of runes all over the piece before handing it back to Ryu.
The whole work took around three hours, a time that fascinated Ryu with woodworking, giving him the inspiration to choose a profession from the system.
"It is a gold-grade weapon. I put some interesting inscriptions in that club, some that I never thought of using before on a weapon. Tell your friend to take care while using it." Feng Po advised.
"Gold-grade? My staff is only silver-grade." Ryu complained.
"You will get a better weapon when you deserve it, as for now, that staff is really important for you. Remember, if someone is watching your fight, you should only fight with that staff. Do you understand me?" Feng Po asked.
"Why is that?" Ryu asked.
"The inscriptions I placed on that staff will help you to hide your skills. It mostly has fancy inscriptions on it, but with a good dose of sweet lies, it will match perfectly with that skill of yours." Feng Po said.
With everything done, Feng Po went out of the cave, extracted one sword from his ring, climbed it, and went out flying at an incredibly fast speed.
Seeing Feng Po flying on his sword, Ryu remembered, now that he achieved level 10 and has qi, he can fly on his own sword too.
Full of expectancy, Ryu got his sword, placed his feet on the blade, and tried to inject qi into it, to make it float. However, the sword remained on the ground, with not even a slight sign of the inscriptions.
After putting some thought into it, Ryu concluded that the problem was his lack of qi, so he opened the system to convert all the essence he accumulated into qi.

As Ryu clicked the 'Yes' button, a refreshing sensation spread through his body, and a notification appeared.

--------------------------------
For this new level up, Ryu got 6 points to distribute, and he also got 8 points in focus and 4 in resistance for the crazy training Feng Po submitted him.
The 11 points to distribute, Ryu decided to hold them for a while, his build was a mess, but he couldn't decide on a single build to follow as his martial skill established a base to use all weapons.
After inspecting his stats for a while, Ryu closed the system and returned to the sword. Fly was one of the most exciting things for a cultivator, and he was eager to try it for the first time.
Placing one foot on the top of the sword, Ryu focused to sent qi to flow from his body to the sword above his feet. This time the result was different from the previous, as the inscriptions on the sword's edge shone for a single moment, and the sword remained floating a few centimeters above the ground.
With caution, Ryu climbed the sword, afraid that he could fall at any moment. But it didn't happen, the sword was solidly floating.
Then, Ryu tried to send an order to gain height, it took a few minutes until he could figure out how to do it, but he achieved it. Next, when he was flying two meters above the floor he tried to send an order for the sword to fly straight, and this order he achieved more easily.
Despite achieving the feat of ordering the sword to fly, his speed was just slightly faster than if he were running, but Ryu didn't care about this at all.
As the sensation of freedom and the air passing through his hair brought a sense of accomplishment that he never felt before.
Thus he flew south, passing by snow and mountains with a large smile. Even when he felt his energy draining, his mood didn't diminish, and he insisted on using the sword.
Eventually, Ryu had to stop to replenish his qi, as it was still too low to maintain fly for long periods. But even when he paused at the road to rest, the large smile on his face didn't fade.
Slowly, Ryu was feeling that he was getting closer to become a real cultivator.
Thus, in just a few hours of fly, the familiar outline of the sect appeared on the horizon. It was slightly different since the perfectly equal houses had snow on their roofs.
