Chapter 531 Tour Around the Capital and Castle

Having one in his bet against Algernon Scriven, Marcus returned back to his table with a triumphant expression on his face.

It had been a long time since he had put a spoiled noble child in their place, and he did enjoy the feeling of doing so.

Of course, Mrazivý noticed the look on his face, and said, "Was that really necessary? If you had just called me over, I probably could have resolved it without it escalating that far. Now it is likely that he will try to seek some sort of vengeance against you."

Shrugging his shoulders, Marcus said, "He was being a jerk to the staff, so I put him in his place. Anyway, he would not have learned his lesson if you were the one ho admonished him. And if he wants to try and get even, he will find that he is not dealing with someone that rolls over easily."

Shaking her head, Mrazivý thought Marcus was being a bit foolish to pick a fight like this just for the fun of it.
