Chapter 14 Fish-man island

Going deeper and deeper into the ocean, Paul began to guide the ship according to the log pose.

Sera: " Why was there an admiral after us?"

After all, Paul just told them to hurry up after seeing them. Once they got on a ship, there was already an admiral that appeared before them before submerging the ship.

Paul: " Uh... haha so I ran into this arrogant celestial dragon... and he told me to kneel... so I caused a scene hahaha."

Sera: "...."

Daz: "..."

Robin: " ahaha, well it couldn't be helped, considering who you are haha."

Paul: " hahaha that's right Robin, how dare he tell me to kneel hahaha. Anyways, that's what happens, so after fish-man island, we may need to take some time to adjust our strength according to the New World, after all, we won't be dealing with simple pirates and marines any longer."

Daz: " I want to try and develop my devil fruit and body even more."

Sera: " Same, the Dugongs could use more work also."

Robin: " What should I do."

Paul: "Hmm, I think we need to look for more information about the current situation in the New World. I also want to intervene in a country which may piss off some people haha."

Sera: " What country?"

Paul: " Dressrosa. But before that we need to deal another unsightly matter."

Sera: " And what could that be?"

Paul: " Well, you might have to just wait and see."

As their journey continues, Sera is continuously being surprised at Paul's actions. Paul seems unfathomable to her. Paul's plans seems to be random and easygoing yet at the same time, he has his own agendas and goals when the time comes. Sometimes, those goals align with some of hers, which deals with the corruptness of the government and their unjust involvement in interfering with a country. Robin and Daz is also curious about Paul's thoughts. The two knew that whatever Paul was planning, they would be in for a hard battle if he pauses their journey for a bit to train.

Continuing their journey, the path seems to lead into a deeper abyss. the water path also seems to pour into that hole like a waterfall. Paul started to concentrate harder as he knew that if his sphere of water that was blocking water from coming in breaks, then his crew would simply be crushed by the deep ocean pressure. For him, he could survive and maybe the kung-fu dugongs but with the large amount of sea monster here, it will be a struggle for them to survive.

'fwooosh' the ship fell at a very fast pace. Almost as fast as rising up the knock-up stream. In the next few minutes the ship stopped to a stand-still. The crew looked around, but it was completely dark. The crew used their observation haki and immediately their face revealed a grim expression. They were surrounded by giant sea monsters. With their adaptability to the dark water, it was clear as day that the two were able to see and notice the sudden appearance of the ship. One by one, they slowly drew closer and closer.

Just before a sea monster was about to open its mouth,

Vander Decken IX: " Wadatsumi, take care of them."

Wadatsumi: " You got it."

Wadatsumi, a giant tiger blowfish fish-man, punched the large sea monster sending it flying.

Vander Decken: " bahahahaha, you should be thankful for me saving you as your savior..."

Paul: " Thank you."

Paul already knew Vander Decken's personality and strength.

Vander Decken: " 'ahem' As your savior, you will now follow me as your captain."

Paul: " No thanks haha. But thanks for lending us a hand, we'll be going now."

Vander Decken was speechless about how Paul was acting, he interupted him first but now he denied his 'life saving' gesture and debt.

Vander Decken: " Wadatsumi, kill them."

When Paul heard this, he smiled and rushed out of the space of his ship and came right in front of Wadastumi. 'bang' He punched in right in the forehead sending him falling into the ground. When Paul left the ship and went out, he felt a strong pressure that was pushing him together and slowly restricted his movements just slightly. However, it was only just this, this water pressure did not heavily affect Paul's performance.

Wadastumi: " Owie, he is too strong captain."

Vander Decken: " ugh, useless."

Just as he was about to make his move, 'rumble' large heat started to rise from the ground. Vander Decken eyes squinted and immediately ordered Wadastumi to carry their ship away.

Paul: " Shit, sea volcano."

Paul quickly swam back to the ship and started directing the ship away from the source of heat. The ship was starting to move slow, Paul quickly went to the top of the ship and touched the water that was still shielding the ship. he then used his hands to seemingly grab the water and started pulling. This movement sped the ship at a faster pace. Quickly the ship began to outpace the heat source and 'boom' an underwater eruption came soon after and rocks began to fly out.

After fleeing for a distance, another hole appeared and Paul did not hesitate to push the ship in. 'fwoosh' Another torrent of water came pouring down. Paul had already pushed his ability to his limit as he rushed upwards and waved his hand as he controlled the water as much as he could to control it from rushing downwards trying to pressure and crush the ship. He overestimated himself as did not expect so much pressure coming down. He should've had the coated the ship for underwater travel.

'boom' the ship finally landed and the crew finally regained their stability and looked around. They saw a giant bubble with a large city. Unlike the sea floor from before, it was bright as day and there were sea monsters and large fishes almost everywhere, however they were just minding their own business.

Paul: " 'phew' Another close call huh, hahaha."

Sera: " Damn right it was a close call. If we had just taken our time on the Sabaody islands and get our ship coated then we wouldn't have to rely on your strength too much."

Daz nodded his head and Robin just laughed.

Paul: " haha, I got it, I got it. What you don't trust me?"

Sera: "hmph, Let's just go."

Paul didn't mind the attitude and pushed the ship forward and entered fish-man island.
