Chapter 38 Final Move

Paul closed his eyes as he started to surge with energy and chakra. His body lit up with a light blue aura as he continued to gather as much chakra as he can. Then he body began to be on fire, Paul controlled that fire into the palm of his hand. Next came lightning. Lightning surged from his body as he began to control it to the palm of fire. In Paul's hand now are two small separate elements floating and moving around his hand. Using chakra, Paul had managed to form the two elements into its separate parts and shape it into small forms of energy that was at the size of marbles.

He began to spin them around his palm and then slowly combine the two elements. As this was happening, Doflamingo had finally gotten up. However, he stumbled on the way up and almost fell back down again. The damage that Doflamingo received could be evident from how long it took him to get back up. Doflamingo looked up and saw Paul high up into the sky. He then looked closer and saw Paul's palm and saw that two kinds of energy was slowly starting to merge with each other.

Doflamingo finally had some fear in him as he saw the move. If it was like the last attack then his next move would have to be his strongest because from just looking at Paul's concentration, the next attack would be his strongest.

Paul opened his eyes as he sensed that Doflamingo has gotten up. Paul looked at his hand has he began to feel the energy between them and the dense weight it brought to his hand. Fire and lightning chakra nature combined in the Naruto world created plasma. Finally, the two elements combined, but Paul was also having trouble controlling it since it uses up a lot of chakra. Paul put his other hand above it to concentrate it more and give it even more power. Now it was at the size of a large ball.

Paul: " It's time to end this Doflamingo. The Heavenly Dragon vs the Heavenly Demon."

Doflamingo narrowed his eyes as he now saw the strength of Paul's move and said, " Those who don't obey should be killed!"

Paul: " Heaven's Downfall."

Doflamingo: " Sixteen Holy Bullets: God thread"

Paul threw down his attack as Doflamingo controlled sixteen imbued dark haki threads and sent them upwards. The attack quickly met and caused an intense collision as the skies began to divide in two and wind started blow out and reach the whole island.

Paul controlled and continued to try and push the attack even harder towards Doflamingo while Doflamingo was trying his best to break apart the ball of energy. However, it wasn't working and he was being pushed back. Doflamingo then tried to set up a string of nets but it was already too late. Paul's attack broke apart everything thing that Doflamingo had tried to do and landed right in front of him. '...' 'BOOOOM' A large explosion had taken place. The explosion was so big and intense that the people who were watching the battle in the sky began to fly back due to the shockwave of the battle. Paul who was flying also began to fly back from the blast that shook the country.

Not too long after, the explosion had died down and a large crater could be seen on the ground. Doflamingo's body can now be seen laying on the ground, not moving an inch. The thing about Doflamingo's body this time it was missing both arms. The other parts of his body was deformed. From his body state, it was obvious that Doflamingo was no longer breathing and had died from that attack. It was already a miracle for his body to still be intact after an explosion like that.

Finally, the bird cage began to collapse as Doflamingo was no longer alive. When everyone saw that the attack has finally collapsed, they roared in happiness to finally be free from Doflamingo's clutches and strings.

Seeing Doflamingo's state and the cage collapse, Paul finally knew that he had won and began to fly down in a really slow pace. Paul knew that if he doesn't do anything, then he will soon lose consciousness. At this point, he does not know what the marines would do right now. He is not too familiar with Tsuru and her personality. Vice-admiral Tsuru may perhaps take this chance to capture both his crew and the rest of Doflamingo's crew. With his crew's exhaustion level on high after fighting and helping the civilians, it will be hard for them to escape the navy.

Finally landing on the ground, he saw his crew running over to him. Seeing that Paul was exhausted from the battle, the crew knew they had to do something. Especially Daz, Daz already had a run in with some of the Navy before the battle started and after taking down Pica and helping the citizens, he was also spent and wouldn't be able to go into another intense fight at the moment. With just Sera, Vlad, and Robin, it may be a challenge to handle Vice Admiral Tsuru, as she was a legendary figure herself.

Paul: " King Riku, you have no need to say anymore. We have our own reasons on why we wanted to take down Doflamingo. It is thanks to some forces on this country that we were able to do so well with little casualties."

King Riku: " I understand. But still, I have to thank you. Without your interference, our country will still be in the hands of Doflamingo and his crew. The hidden forces would still be slaves and we ultimately will only be able to watch our own people suffer under his manipulation."

Although Paul had said what he said, his real objective was indeed to help these people, rather than wait for two years and let Luffy do it. Paul shook his head and said, " King Riku. That should be enough of you bowing your head and humbling yourself. If you can, we need a place to rest and eat. As soon as we're rested we must leave quickly too. The navy is here after all."

King Riku nodded his head as he understood, " Kyros can take your crew to his place at the top of the hill. As for the gladiators they can rest in the royal palace."

Paul: " Then I will be leaving you to the rest of your people."

After that being said, Paul and the several figures who fought for the country soon left the scene while King Riku gathered his soldiers and began to help the people and check the status of the country.

Arriving at Kyros' place, Kyros and Rebecca left them to go grab something for the group to snack on.

While waiting, Sera grew a little impatient as she said, " Paul, why are we waiting here? It looks like you have already recovered from your battle with Doflamingo. Is there a particular reason why?"

The others also looked at Paul as they also had this question in mind. Paul smiled and said, " I'm just curious. I saw a member of the revolutionary army here. The navy also hasn't made a move yet. I wonder what their intentions for us are."

Paul: " Anyways let's just rest here for a night. Although I have recovered from the battle, I learned many things about my abilities and techniques and need time to adjust my state of mind."
