Pain.
Thats the only word I can use to describe my current situation. In this dark world I can only feel such. I want it to end, screaming at my mind. There is only pain.
After what felt like hours, it slowly resides to a dull throbbing feeling. I start to feel something. The dull, black world filled with agony slowly tints a reddish orange. It feels like it ways more then a mountain but I think I am starting to feel my eyelids.
They move slightly, albeit slowly. A puercing gleam strikes me from above with tons of shadows peering over me. Sounds, muffled as they are, begin to head my way. Murmers, whispers, all shadowed by a waterfall-esque noise. Everythings blurry, its too loud, and I can't even feel the rest of me but somehow I'm relieved.
'I don't know why but it feels good to be alive,' and with that thought my consciousness fades again.

I slowly become conscious of the red-orange view; however, this time it came with a dull sense of pain. Although deeply unsettling, it wasn't nearly as bad as when i was in the bleak pitch. My eyes, feeling lighter then before, opened slowly.
Adjusting to the light I first notice a person standing in front of me, wearing aqua greeb scrubs. Shes looking at a machine while her hands are flying across a keyboard. I try to see if I can peer over her shoulder, but the screen is completly blocked.
'It's nice to be able to see something other then shadows and bright lights,' I think as my eyes wander elsewhere. The wall had a TV that was inactive and there was a table at the foot of the bed with a pale green vase of flowers.
I begin to realize that theres a good chance I've been hospitalized as I begin to look at my own body. Other then my neck, the rest of me seems to be unresponsive besides the pain which doesn't appear to be a good sign.
I glance at the parts of my arms that I can see and notice bandages all over them.
'I wonder how I got hurt, I doesn't seem like I can remember much." My eyes wander across the rest of my body, which is covered by a blanket, wondering how much else is bandaged.
I look back at the presumable nurse and try to say something only to realize my voice won't come out. Trying a few more times, I give up, defeated by my inability to do anything. I try to examine the room somemore, but with only being able to move my neck my view is hindered to only white cabinets and walls, the women, the tv, and the vase.
I look at the vase again and begin to wonder what kind of flowers are inside. The flowers are white with an abundence of petals that slowly turn yellow at the middle. As I peered at the stem I was suddenly given a great shock.
[White Chrysanthemum] -
[...]
I didnt notice before, but in the upper left of my vision, theres a small menu. Almost like a HUD. I peer at the vase while paying attention and just like I thought:
[Mint Green Vase] -
[...]
'This. What is this, what the hell!?' A shout, limited to my mind, echos. For whatever reason this bothered me more then my lacking voice or aching body. Although, I was oddly excited as well.
Looking back to the vase, I thought a little bit and then focused on the ellipses underneath.
[Mint Green Vase] -
[A mass produced vase that comes in a variety of colors.]
Reading that I kept looking at the vase with a strange face and was about experiment with this some more but...
"Ah! It looks like you have finally woken up!" The nurse lady pressed a button and walked over to me. I thought about it, and looked directly at her.
[Nurse] -
[Your average nurse.]
"Can you hear me at all?" She asks as she goes to a counter and start looking through various tools. She stops and turns her head towards me when I don't answer and notices me shaking it no.
"Ah that's unfortunate," she said grabbing a tool here and there. "Call me Violet, I am your nurse and I will be asking you a few questions and checking a few things until the doctor comes. Its okay to shake your head for the answer."
She drags her chair that she used for the machine over to the side of the bed along with a tray and a clipboard. Now that shes actually in front of me I can finally see her.
Her hair is straight and black, she herself has fair skin, with a slightly short stature and piercing blue eyes. Overall she gives off a cute feel if not slightly itimidating because of the eyes.
"First lets examine you, alright?" I nod yes.
"Good looks like you can hear me, now look here and follow my finger...look off into the distance...can you lift your hand..."
After the basic physical was done she flips through some papers and scribbles away before she sets it down again.
[Violet]
[Nurse] - [...]
'That's good to know, more information shows up as I learn more huh?' I think glancing back at the vase and flowers.
"Now, I'm going to ask you a few personal questions before I turn you over to the doctor. Of course yes or no, if you don't want to answer then you can shake your head no or do nothing." She said, as I put my full attention back on her.
"First we'll start with basics. Do you know your name?" She asks, pen and paper at the ready. I slowly shake my head no and she sighs. "Not even that much huh? In general do you remember anything before waking up?" Again I shake my head no and she gives me a meloncholy smile while finishing up her writing.
"Okay, the doctor will be in soon so rest up until then, thank you for the hard work." She rolls her chair still sitting back to the monitor.
With her back turned again I start thinking about the interface again.
'As far as I know it appears that the information gathered requires a mixture of common knowledge and my own like with the Pale Green Vase. On top of that I can know more by either finding characteristics lile the Chrysanthemum or being given it directly as in Violet's name.' When I arrived here I suddenly had a thought. What would happen if I viewes myself?
Looking at my bandaged arm I focused intently until...
