Neo slowly moved towards the water to do as ordered. Her bare feet gradually parted with the ground as soon as she stood beneath the waterfall. A mirror reflection of her appeared, she was aware that she was looking at herself but the white patterns all over her upper body and the long purple fish tail made her doubt that it was truly her.
"You need to embrace what you are and return to the ocean" Thandi said "Because the answers that you seek are within the depths of the ocean." 












Blood and Water

Celebrations were the order of the month in Odunda. Everything seemed like it was back to normal. Even Una forgave Unanda after he put himself in her shoes. Takhi was adjusting well but isolating herself because life surrounded by people took some getting used to. As queen Neo could do something she always wanted to, see her other family. 


"There is their boat," Neo said to her family as they swam underneath a boat her family had been renting for two weeks hoping to see them. She sensed everything in Odunda, so she sensed their presence daily. 


"Do you think that they will like me?" Dandari asked. When she heard about Zasari's past, she threw a valid tantrum but came around soon after. "You said they hate merpeople." 


"I said our grandfather feared us so much he mistook it for hate," Neo said. 


"I don't think I can do this," Zasari said. "It's been too long." 


Okay, let’s do this," Neo said. "I'll go first, and when I see the mood is calm, I'll come get you."
