Inside the warehouse portion of the building had been stifling, the air not moving as there was no air-conditioning inside. However, once Rhychard opened the metal door leading inside the building, a blast of cold hair sent goosebumps up his arms as a shiver traveled down his back. With a deep breath, he stepped into the hallway, turning his head both directions in case there was anyone else nearby. He wasn’t sure what the man in the warehouse was doing there so late, but his presence could very well indicate that someone else was either nearby or on their way. “Which way do you think we should go?” Rhychard asked, his voice a soft whisper.
