Rhychard jumped onto his back porch, rushing through the doorway of the sliding glass doors leading into his condo, which they kept open for Kree, so the coshey would be able to come and go as he needed. Renny had screamed once and then silence, and the silence terrified him.
When he slid into the small living area of his condo, he saw Renny pressed against the wall, staring with wide eyes at something in the middle of the room. Pux and the other three gnomes stared at the same spot, but whereas Renny held a petrified expression pulling her face taut, they just looked confused.
“I swear, I don’t see anything,” Fist said, his tiny hands bunched into fists and shoved onto his hips. The gnome stood no taller than a child’s action figure and looked just as silly. “It’s just air. Who screams at air?”
