Chapter 112 - Daughters of Darkness

Kayla stepped onto the back porch, the long table she where sat and ate just a few days ago lying in splinters on the porch floor, Selina in the middle of the mess. Hannah and Kalinda stood on both sides of the fallen witch while she tried to get back to her feet. Clara stood a few feet away, shattered glass around her feet as her magic danced around her fingertips.

Kalinda caught Kayla’s eye, and Kayla gave the other woman a slight nod, letting her know the others were on their way. We just need to keep Clara busy until they get here. And stay alive. Yeah, staying alive would be great. She avoided returning to the Cauldron Coven because of stuff just like this, and here she was, right smack dab in the center of the chaos once more. Life can be such a bitch.

Selina stood, brushing herself off as she faced Clara again. “You’re not going to win,” she promised, arms down at her sides as she held her magic ready. “We’re not going to let you win.”
