“You ready?” Kalinda asked from beside her.


“I am,” Kayla said as she shifted into a more comfortable position. “Remember, she can see and hear us, so we need to avoid her as much as possible. Everything needs to be a sneak attack. Hit and run. Focus on the magicians, throwing them off balance, so the others can do their part.”


Kalinda grinned at Kayla as she reached out, taking the redhead’s hand in hers and squeezing. “I understand, love. Trust me. We got this.”
